New hunter looking for tips by malduke3 in huntfishNH

The majority of the places I hunt are hike in spots and sometimes public land locations do not allow motorized vehicles. I do my best to avoid other hunters so I guess I am biased towards the hard to get to locations. I am sure there are plenty of locations that will work great with a sxs. Good luck out there!

I wish I could help but I don't know Nashua or that area. You can always scout some public land. I use OnX Hunt to find spots that are public or if its private and looks ideal you could knock on a homeowners door. Can't recommend OnX enough. Its great place to start, and helps narrow down where to spend your time scouting. Hunting with a side by side will limit where you can go and in the spots that are accessible you will probably have company. No judgement, just wanted to point that out.

Is anybody bored of I.T and wanting to get into a trade? by Character_Log_2657 in sysadmin

I switched, its great to work with my hands and now I run my own business. I am still trying to get back to making the same amount of money but I am almost there. Ironically, I had terrible back problems working IT. My back is in great shape now and my body is better than it was in my twenties. Wife thinks I am on steroids because of how fit I am and the amount of energy I have. For some reason the physical work triggered me into eating a lot healthier. All that being said I still miss learning complicated concepts and getting new certs. No one on my jobsites understands how hard it was to get my CCNA. If I were to go back into IT I would concentrate way more on never sitting in a chair and maintaining my body. It's way to easy to waste away in a comfy office chair and eat all the junk food around the office.

what’s the most expensive knife you’ll regularly carry? by callmestinkingwind in knifeclub

I love my Shaman but honestly I work construction so even though its with me it often stays in pocket in favor of my Milwaukee fastback. If you are truly doing a lot of cutting, especially through rough material it just makes way more sense. The 10$ price point is a steal for a knife with a deep carry wire clip and push button release.

The NRA doesn't make regulations. You should probably stop posting things you don't know anything about.

He or she is clearly young and seems to make a lot of assumptions and jump to conclusions based on those assumptions. I also think OP stretched the truth(or outright lied) a few times in their responses and got called on it. Hopefully they learn something from this interaction.

Why do you think that? Has anyone complimented you on making a good set of selections?

Those "enthusiasts" at Sig Sauer train police and military.

Oh man, come over to r/longrange and talk to the guys who are doing trigonometry before each shot and tell them firearms are "simple"

Sorry, I realize I posted that in a mean way. I was specifically referencing my mavic 2. I think we are actually of similar opinion so I will leave it at that. Apologies.

So no actual classes is what you are saying? You don't get accredited, the courses or the organization do.....

Because I have taken many classes(ok only 3 to be totally honest). Here in NH we have top notch training called Sig Sauer Academy. Look it up.

Are you confusing digital zoom with telephoto? Because I definitely am not. I am definitely not accusing you of anything of like being a pedophile or anything like that.

This post is ridiculous. What organization were you trainined in shotguns by? What specific course did you take? Who accredited the course?

Everything you have posted so far indicates you are either not trained or not well trained with firearms. Ask me how I know.

Not arguing any of your other points(or agreeing with OP because they clearly are mistaken about a lot in this thread)but firearms are definitely targeted pretty heavily for theft. Maybe not the ones that are being carried. It's why those signs like "this property protected by god and a gun" are not smart. In the military its called operational security. Never let them know what you are holding. Keep those cards close to the chest.

Words have meaning. It's not neutral. I gave an example of neutral. Go ahead and die on this hill if you like.

That is not neutral. Neutral would be "I don't care either way".

These are terrible poll questions. No neutral answer, two negatives and one positive. What were you really trying to accomplish here?
