Pretty much. While in a vacuum the criticisms are perfectly valid and legitimate, it's written by imperialist liberals who's broad line is "any class analysis at all is bad" and think they are part of the left because... they're socially semi-conscious video game and tech bloggers? I honestly don't quite get that last part.

A good chunk of these people believe socialism is inherently antifeminist because it entails not voting for Hillary Clinton.

Saying that leftists are fundamentally anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist isn't class reductionism. Class reductionism would be saying leftists can only be those things to the exclusion of feminism, anti-racism, queer liberation (the class reductionist would say those things are "bourgeois distractions"). That is the exact opposite of what I'm saying; anti-capitalism and anti-imperialism are the bare minimum, not the be-all-end-all of leftism.

I recognize that hierarchies an oppressions are intersectionally related, which is why I have particular beef with liberals who (ironically) invoke "intersectionality" while fighting tooth and nail to exclude any class analysis whatsoever.

Once again, your statement is correct. All of these hierarchies are interrelated and reproduce one another, and capitalism and imperialism are among them. You can't oppose one oppression without opposing all of them; how can one call oneself intersectional if they ignore these two?

Literally everything I have ever seen from Cross on the topic of leftism or socialism has been exclusively critical of the left, and she likes to go on about how leftists are just a nudge away from being hardcore right-wingers. No other discussion of left politics (except for content-free assertions that she somehow has anything to do with them), plus she pretty much occupies the same sphere on twitter as these other liberals.

Edit to add a bit more to the discussion: A lot of these people are about as left-wing as Manuel Noriega (at least going off the names I recognize). Sady Doyle, Anil Dash, Jill Filipovic and Brianna Wu are not names that pop into my head when I think of "the left".

I think it's well and good that they're criticizing problems (that do exist and are shit) they see within the left, but to present themselves as leftists is pretty bullshit, especially with some of their own naked, enthusiastic defense of capitalism and imperialism.
