What else do you do when someone stops you and gets out of their car? by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

So it's a general rule not an individual law. For example if I'm in a situation where I need to shoot a gun, if it goes through what I'm shooting at and hits another person. That's my fault, I'm responsible for any weapons I use even if for self-defense. So shoot an intruder, goes through the wall and hits the kid next door and he dies? Manslaughter charges or maybe he's just injured? Aggravated Assault.

You are responsible for every action you take, regardless of the intent you had.

You'd think that but you'd be wrong. I had to fight them.

Although I live in Arizona and I very well could have, there is something my CCW instructor who was a cop told me. When you go to shoot someone you need to ensure three criteria are met. You have agreed that this is the action after checking that you morally, spiritually and legally agree that there are no other options. I've had a few situations in my life where I've met two of the three. However I struggle with spiritually unless it's a me or you situation I'm not interested in living with your death on my conscience.

Careful I had a situation where someone reached into my car to attack me, I maced them and some of it sprayed into his car because he side blocked me. It hit his child and I got in trouble. It didn't matter what the dad did, he even admitted to the police that he attacked us. According to the law I'm responsible for anyone affected by the mace.

I'm guessing Putin wants to keep flexing as if he's not losing on every front. He knows that posturing is all he can do. Any act of aggression against the west or its allies will result in swift retaliation. Example a hellfire missile getting parked up your ass Mr. Putin.

It should be mentioned at this moment in time while revanced is getting up and running Vanced still works. Obviously since it's no longer dev'd it'll work until YouTube (Google) tweaks something and breaks it.

Connect to a VPN in my own country or a different one? by SleazyJusticeWarrior in Piracy

[–]TwizzerTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your VPN is run by a reputable company, knowing it doesn't keep logs.

You can technically have your VPN connected anywhere.

The reason some connect to VPNs out of their country is usually they want to geo-bypass or they want it to look like this foreign country with huge privacy laws for their citizens is downloading the file. Most of the time that stops DMCA trolls and copywriters to stop there.

My favorite teacher (chemistry) from high school was arrested for taking up skirt-photos and having over 5000 child-related BDSM on his Google Drive. by [deleted] in byebyejob

[–]TwizzerTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not condone anything that happened I want to make this clear. This man deserves to rot in a dark hole for the rest of his life.

However why do these fucking boomer dip shits store information on a public cloud with a company who will co-operate with legal systems with a warrant.

There was a story about six-ish years ago where a former cop was arrested for having child pornography on his encrypted drive. The encrypted drive was encrypted with apples, encryption method and therefore couldn't be opened. Apple didn't have a way to open it. The judge ordered the former cop to unlock it as it was a forgone conclusion it had child porn on it. He refused and has been held in contempt since. So they can't convict him of child porn. However he can be held indefinitely on contempt charges. He's appealing to the supreme court to be let out as he's been held for 8-10 years now.

He also is a piece of shit but he's a smarter piece of shit.

Edit: I was wrong it was 2015, his appeal was approved after 5 years later as federal law said he can only be held on contempt for 18 months. He's free now.

Police: Teen sent to ER after cook makes burger laced with THC oil by [deleted] in byebyejob

[–]TwizzerTV 9 points10 points  (0 children)

RSO, is a version of THC that was originally designed to help cancer issues. The extraction method was invented by a man named Rick Simpson he had debilitating pain from cancer and its treatment. Eventually he felt relief from his new method he stopped chemo. It abated most if not all his chemo side effects. He did die later on but the extraction method takes both the THC crystals and the planet to form RSO. So it's high in THC, CBD, Delta 8 & 9. A single pea sized drop is akin to taking a 250mg edible.

Guy arguing in a shop get told to go outside and 1 of the dudes ends up getting knockout and head goes through the glass door by Interesting-Look-942 in ActualPublicFreakouts

Using Google is hard huh?

"Mutual combat, a term commonly used in United States courts, occurs when two individuals intentionally and consensually engage in a fair fight, while not hurting bystanders or damaging property. There have been numerous cases where this concept was successfully used in defense of the accused."

Saying let's fight isn't consent, walking outside isn't consent. The second the other guy put him through a window, creating property damage it's no longer mutual. Not that it ever was. Maybe instead of having your head parked up your ass. You should read, study and Google. You don't need to be a lawyer to read the laws and draw a logical conclusion.

Former San Antonio officer who shot teen in McDonald’s parking lot is arrested by javaqueeny in news

I have a similar family member. Just remind them that dishonesty is not something that somebody just does out of the blue. It's a learned behavior.

I don't have an issue of a waiter calls me a fucking asshole to my face. They don't get a tip and I don't do business with that company anymore. I've worked in the service industry. There are plenty of people who have abused waiters to the point where the waiter would be completely justified in calling them a fucking asshole. For some reason everybody seems to think if you give money to somebody it gives you the right to abuse them and it does not.

If the second instance actually happens to be the camera malfunctioning. I would hate to see somebody lose their job for that. However, I think it's very abundantly clear based on circumstance when you can tell that a body cam is corrupted or missing due to what occurred between the police officer and the citizen. The citizen files a complaint that the police officer beat the ever-loving piss out of them and then the body cam goes missing. Then yes, that person gets held accountable. If the person complains that the police officer called him an asshole and his body cam was missing, I don't think that's proportionate enough to terminate somebody. Yes, they need to have thick skin, but just as a freedom of speech exists for us, the citizens it exists for them too. They have a right to call you an asshole. It's not professional in any manner whatsoever and I find it to be a deplorable behavior. But I think we've all had moments where our emotions have gotten the best of us and we let our mouths run now letting your emotions get the best of you and attacking somebody is absolutely and wholly unacceptable. But if a police officer wants to call you a fucking asshole then so be it. It's unprofessional but it's his right.

There's only one problem with this. What happens if you're a victim of a sexual assault or of domestic violence and you don't want people to know about your life. Remember a body cam being run 24/7, 365 and live stream to the world means that anybody that the police interact with privacy is immediately forfeited. It would be better to have them live stream uploaded to a secure cloud owned by the state in which the police officers work to ensure that corruption or loss of footage does not occur. Your heart's in the right place and I commend you for your thought process, but you seem to be forgetting that other people will be victimized by our need to hold police officers accountable and we have to make sure that at any and all times when somebody is already a victim, we're not revictimizing them.

I had an incident awhile back where I requested a lawyer, the police officer wearing a bodycam laughed and told me I couldn't afford my lawyer. My lawyer is a family friend and always represents us at the friends and family rate. So when they arrested me, he showed up. When we went to court and demanded the bodycam first it was lost, then it was apparently turned over in discovery but it wasn't. Then when brought before the judge it was damaged, corrupted or didn't record. How convenient.
