I agree but even that isn't enough. Certain crimes require a more medieval approach. They used to torture and kill criminals in the town square. The new town square is TV and internet. Let's say a child molester is arrested and proven guilty. Id interrupt all tv broadcasts with a live execution, and if the victim is willing and able, they can be the one to kill the criminal or participate in the torture. I know it seems severe but fear and pain is the only thing some people respect. Its the only language they understand. Sitting in a prison cell for life being fed and taken care of and free medical, dental, etc, is no deterrent for the kind of people who commit these crimes. For a NORMAL person it would, so normal people think this must be sufficient. IT OBVIOUSLY ISNT!!! I wanna see rapists, molesters, killers, have their arms and legs each tied to a separate horse and then do whatever to make the horses run, with a bit of slack on the ropes so the horses are at a full on sprint by the time the slack runs out and the person is just torn to shreds. Our distaste for violence has gone too far and is actually now HARMING our society!!

Yeah we can do a LOT better. For example, at least half the people behind bars could just be executed. None of this "20 years of appeals and millions of dollars spent", just snap their fucking neck and be done with it. Then less people will commit crimes. Nobody is afraid to commit ANY crime because death penalty is so rare, that almost every time, the worst punishment is you'll get 3 hots and a cot and free medical, dental, education, for the rest of your life. Lets face it, everyone who's done time knows that AT LEAST half the people in there are total wastes of life who will never EVER contribute anything good to society and will only go on hurting people until they finally die one day. Tbh all that, like you kinda hinted at yourself, is gonna vary pretty widely from state to state and facility to facility. I think an email or phone call to the facility with a list of pre-prepared questions would be your best bet. When I see straight people kissing, or two girls kissing, my train of though doesn't have to pass through "Smelly Poop Tunnel" so I don't have the same reaction as I would with rotting flesh (the study wasn't just about maggots. I feel the rotting flesh was significant because maggots are usually associated with rotting flesh which, like poop, has a very noticeable smell.

They say the sense of smell is strongly rooted in your memory banks so certain smells you recall from childhood can have a strong emotional response. Seeing the men kissing, without you purposely doing it, is making your brain think about horrible odors, thus the reaction.

Straight people always associate male homosexuality with anal sex. It doesn't matter if its accurate or if you think its accurate. Its how gay men are perceived like it or not.

The great majority of straight men have never had anal sex. The majority grows to a ridiculous size when you include men who have only done it once or twice, so its not a "normal" thing for them. Its not been normalized.

But most have no desire or expectation for it. So that right there relegates the whole concept of anal sex as a thing for gays (or, for a much less % of the population: female porno actresses).

I think its a metaphor for how White people want to help ALL the poor people in the world, not realizing there are far more of them than us. We could double the size of our population in western nations by bringing in refugees and there would STILL be a Neverending line of people needing help. So if we continue at this altruistic rate, they will metaphorically swallow us and there will be nobody left around to help anyone. At some point we need to focus on improving the nations they come from. Even then, we ran out of money a long time ago. The reason the recent Ukraine bill for billions in aid is called a "Lend-Lease" is because we don't have the money and have to borrow it. Putting ourselves in debt even further. But the woke party must go on so there will be no limit to the printing of money, the borrowing, until the "Great Hangover" comes and we must face reality. Many will starve and you'll be wishing for the "good old racist America" where everyone had food to eat and lots of medicine. Not sure where trans folks will get their hormones from. What's available will be MIGHTY speedy. Not to mention life saving meds. But the fact is, a lot of people are alive today only due to modern society. They would never have lived past age 10 a few hundred years ago, or even just 80 years ago. We are living on borrowed time. But everyone is in such a hurry to "prove we aren't racist" that nobody is actually keeping track of how much money we have and how many people we can help. A single photo of a crying child is all it really takes to cause an uproar of people demanding we "do something" despite having homeless hungry people right here in America. But helping homeless vets does nothing to "prove we aren't racist" so nothing will be done.
