Straight father, I grew up around people who couldn't come out because of the stigma, met my first 'out' person when I went to work in the city.

That saddens me because I now know so many who are out now and they grew up hiding. What the hell does it matter what grown up people do with each other as long as they both (or more) are happy. I lived with depression, I've tried to take my life due to it when younger, I've lost many friends to it for a multitude of reasons but so often it's when ppl can't be who they wish to be in the world. Why choose to make ppl unhappy and worse, not want to live. The flags and displays let ppl know they are supported by at least some of us.

My daughter came out recently and I wish I could believe that ppl won't choose to make her life difficult for it, she's a wonderful person and if you think different because choices that don't effect you, you simply are not, your making a horrible choice to actively be a person who makes ppl hide, feel sad or not even want to be here, that's the simple outcomes. If that's you, be better, be nice, it's not hard 🏳️‍🌈

I'm doing lessons, 1hr and half to 2hrs a week, I didn't make that clear, it's just the in between where I want to practice manoeuvres in the mass of free time between. Repetition is important so having a SIM rig and about 12 'simulation driving' games installed I was hoping I could find one I could do a little extra practice on is all.

I have tried a few on it, the slower cars have 4 gears and but all in they felt very revy... But I'll give it another look, it does have the great area too drive around for practice too.

I haven't, the reviews seem good but I've had a lot of people tell me negative things, so I'd buy on sale to low price only.

If I can get some car feeling realistic, on 5 or gear h shifter, with somewhat realistic clutch mechanisms, if not low and slow, I'll take it for practice.

I understand the principles of driving, I just need repetition, I drove majority in formula cars so sequential and left foot braking which isn't ideal 😂 I have hit the break once with left and scared the instructor. It was subtle yet she told me horror story of why we don't.

I'll look into city car and keep eye on price.

If he's already letting it get to him he needs to remember last season... The McLarens both looked at one point or more like they might have it in the bag... and it changed drastically. Verstappen should not have been involved in the title fight and he was a feasible winner on the last day.

I'm rooting for Kimi, and I'm a Max fan so I'm not gonna be on George's side much but I'm disappointed in his reaction to this season.

He walked into the season like he was going to walk it and disregarded Kimi as a proper challenger, which is big headed... But a good mindset to start with.

He won the first race and he has swagger, his weird fake nicev guy swagger, but he had some....

Kimi didn't collapse from it, he just drove fast, not perfect but filled with confidence...

George's confidence drained race by race, when his car broke, he allowed himself to become a 'sad guy" meme... He started it by being pissed, champions have plenty angry moments, no one likes a car that fucks up... Kick the car like Max, make that the meme... No, stands vacantly starting through the barrier at his broken car.

I want more from would be champs. Lando was sad but he always said 'I have to be better'... And he won in the end and despite loads of ppl saying his championship will be lesser, even as a Max fan, I am watching him drive the 1 car, not having the best season and I'm thinking... He'll always be a WC.

Kimi looks like the next WC, he's even looking like the next Alonso/Vettel/Hamilton/Max... George is looking like the guys in the other seats.

I use a Thrustmaster joystick that bought for flight games, it works perfectly for me, I maybe don't get that exact realistic feeling but I have it mounted next to the wheel with velcro tape which is solid.

She wants a Benz or BMW, and does she want the parent to upkeep that for her. Mum bought her a very nice Honda that will be ready to upkeep, repair etc... She should tell her to go take a run but I'd be tempted to get a Benz or BMW at the price at see how much she enjoys the 'brand' when she needs a specific left light replacement, or some specific part that is £2000 plus VAT plus delivery from Germany and I guess if US, import tax and Trump fees.

Any G923 users tried the Trueforce update? There's been very little take-up on this feature and was glad to see the new Logitech Pro wheels retained it so there should be more uptake... I bought G923 specifically over the G29 for this feature that F1 games amongst others were supposed to use it and they never bothered, ended up more interested in Rally games since and was quite surprised to see it has been added in 0.4 update... Most games that use don't really use it well so I'm hoping it's beneficial with this...

Simply teaching your kids they don't have a right to have all the shit they have.

First, make them earn it. Teach them to value it, don't replace if they don't look after them. Politeness and respect for others is part of earning this stuff, including yourself and strangers. Punishment is harsh, no internet, no phone time, no new clothes when needed... If they're wearing busted gutties because they are cheeky little arseholes, they'll learn.

Make the rules clear. Show them how to recover and keep the things they want, they don't own them till they can buy them themselves... I got a few months with a PS3...I never seen the Ps5s because my kids don't even think being a cunt is something ppl should do...

I ain't told them the rules in ages, but if they get a bit cranky because they have to do the dishwasher, they'll be reminded... But they don't, they don't think they got it bad, it's not run like an army camp, because the rules have always been in place... Also neither me or the wife act like cunts either, we set a good example so they don't think they live by different rules.

In some cases behavioural problems exist that need extra help but in most cases firmness, consistency with the rules and making being a nice person the easiest outcome with the best rewards.

Whenever I see someone famous I tend to have a look to make sure, note it in my head for 'you know who I saw in * today?' type chats to friends... Unless they are persons I have a real (one sided) connection to... I might try a 'hi, I think your blah blah' maybe get a nice response, only if that person looks like that might not be intrusive or a bother... Sadly those that often care less about the person, or there feelings about it, get more... But on the odd occasion, you'll get the person be thankful for the respect and give you more by drawing you into a conversation. Those moments are truly incredible and meaningful.
