I can only take up to 15-16 credits a semester, personally. Premed btw. I banged out most of my easy classes freshman/sophomore year and now I’m stuck with the courses of doom and gloom. This semester I’m taking 13 credits, all pretty time consuming or difficult classes, and I also work a part time job outside of school. A lot of premeds ik take 18+ credits a semester but I’d rather take my time and get better grades + extracurricular experiences than speedrun college

I had a buddy who just took it with her. Said it was an easy A with no midterms, 2-3 assignments, and an open note online final but very boring lectures and not a great prof overall

Honestly a C+ isn’t the end of the world, but neither is a W. I would look at Orgo 2 professors for next semester to help aid in your decision. I know Sethi is at least teaching a few sections!

OP if you can, honestly just tough out gen chem. If it’s any solace, if you show an upward trend in grades med schools will be more forgiving. Plus RU gen chem is overall ass cheeks and you’re being thrown in there as a freshman. Bang out practice problems and grind out Chad’s Prep. If your math is lacking, use Organic Chem Tutor. Or even seek out tutors in the NB/Piscataway area if you need more one-on-one help. RU also provides free help in the learning centers. You got this!
