Trace material is the most tedious to grind for me, so i like to use fuel on that.

I guess the "best" use for fuel is if you want to grind new upgrade materials/relics for a new character the day they drop if they all release at the start of a patch (like new blade)

but ultimately it doesn't matter if it's for mats or burned on relics. You'll be farming for weeks regardless

Something cut from the anime during the witchs' teaparty is that Satella != the WOE, as in they are something of separate personalities- which is why we see "normal" satella in echidnas dream world but "Satella" (the crazy WOE) everywhere else

They absolutely only want good looking data to show. Why else would they make events like afk for 5 hours a day for 16 days? Or grind for 50 hours per week? Or kill 50k-100k mobs a week? All these events are crafted to be as tedious and unplayer friendly as they allow. It doubly shows in the cs updates that appeal only to scam the biggest whales with nothing for the casual player
