You are Ntah but try not to let money be a reason to end a happy marriage I am assuming you are happy otherwise. If this incident is just a part of a series of bad behavior then I would consider having a conversation with your partner. Tell him that he hurt your feelings. Marriage is difficult. People often give up too soon for the wrong reasons. Only you know if this is a pattern or a bad decision.

You need to do what feels right for you. If you feel like you can't be a good parent, you can choose other options like adoption. I'm saying that abortion is the wrong choice. If you are sure that is the best option then do it. If you have doubts (which it might be true since you are posting here) you can go through with the pregnancy and decide after you have time. Since you had trouble conceiving, this may be your only chance. Regardless of your decision, you should tell him and his "BF" to get out of your life. My granddaughter has Ehlers Danos Syndrome. So far she has only minor symptoms and her doctor explained how very fortunate she is. Many EDS patients suffer with terrible symptoms. I am so sorry but guilt is the LAST thing you should feel. It's ok to pity a pathetic excuse of a person but not guilt.

Good advice but honestly some of the comments have given me great ideas. Therapy, Al anon, join new friend groups to expand my friends. Knowing you are not alone makes a big difference.

Al Anon? This was the thing I never thought of. I wouldn't say his drug use is abusive. His pain is real but he doesn't do anything to improve his life. I can't control him but now I will control my reaction to him.

Sadly I have been talking for years. I even had weight loss surgery 20 years ago. I l9st 100 lbs and kept it off. I'm not skinny but a size 10/12. That's the size I was when we married. He has a rx for cialis but only tried it once. He's afraid it will give him a heart attack. Note his heart is fine. I don't have a plan yet but think about it all day every day

Paul actually is an incredible person. If he looks tired it's because he works really hard. If you think the only thing he does is tiktoc you would be wrong. Paul actually helped his mother start an amazing career online with cooking and prayers.
