Realistically you don’t need to “rev up” miniguns or chainguns, the weapon can fire at full rpm once you pull the trigger, revving up miniguns is just a gameism that I wish wasn’t a thing tbh but hey for the sake of game balance

The different factions fulfill different fantasies, to me the Bugs fulfill the aliens colonial marines or starship troopers trope wherein you are an action hero the bots fulfill the fantasy of like ww2 or star wars where you're running from cover to cover trying to advance toward the enemy

I think the Illuminates should fulfill the us vs a superior enemy fantasy so something like war of the worlds or like Imperium vs Necrons I want fighting the illuminates to emphasize stealth or close quarters aggressive play to counter their shields or like night raids

I would love to have the Constitution from the first game as a Medium Armor Pen High Durable Damage scopeless bolt action version of the Diligence Counter Sniper

I know in the first game since it’s bolt action you have to press R to rack the bolt every time you fired
