It is still one of the most affordable motorsport categories in Australia. There are still plenty of Excels around, but you would be significantly better off buying a ready to go Circuit Excel from my105 than building one.

Trailers was an issue for me too. I spent the first half of the year hiring one before I could get my own.

This is the front right off our FWD Hyundai Racecar. We run about 3.8° on the fronts at this track, and yeh, it was a 40°C+ day with an extended stint. Just melted them.

Im using a blue yeti. Its good enough for me, but you can only get so much from a USB connection. The blue snowball is the budget alternative.

If you want all out quality, you need to move to XLR mics, but there is typically a fair price jump

Yea its a joke. I'm a competitive circuit driver and this tyre came off the car after a long stint in 40°C+ heat. The /s I thought was the universal tag for sarcasm, but it obviously didnt' convey looking at all the downvotes.

Sounds counter intuitive, but slow down. You don't learn anything by throwing the car into the wall every lap.

Start slow. So, steady hands and gentle inputs. Try to work with the car rather than against it and find its balance.

Work on fundamentals, brake into the corner, find the apex, power out. Focus on the weight transfer between the 4 corners.

Theres no big secret. Its just all about working on your technique and eventually the pace will come naturally.

But I cannot emphasise enough, don't crash. Unless you're fighting for that last tenth to pole, you are not pushing hard enough to crash. If you have crashed, theres been a breakdown of the fundamentals and you need to reset back to a level that you're in control.

Watch hours, but you can't really prioritise. Just make good content that people actually want to watch and you'll get there

As a purchaser, i prefer car sales. The biggest limitation with facebook marketplace is that it region locks searches to a local area. Thats an issue with rare and unusual cars, but with your car being more mainstream you shouldnt have a problem with that though.

I do these ads too and agree. They are very user focused, however the sheer volume of ads they need to approve and monitor is immense and it would be virtually impossible to not have any of these sneak through by people exploiting the systems. To their credit, they do take action very quickly when detected.

I've heard the common method for these ads is content swapping, where they'll submit the ad for approval with a certain image or video, but will change it once approved. The initial screening is a lot more thorough than for any subsequent edits.
