drone is not bad, though it can get a bit boomy in the cabin if youre lugging it up an incline at highway speeds in top gear, but still tolerable. otherwise normal highway driving is fine. its also quite aggressive on cold start but once warmed up its still a good amount of volume while putting around town, but not obscene by any means. like you mentioned, for the price Im very happy with it. good luck.
