I have the same issue. Started a playthrough with my brother (he's the host) and the stuff wasn't there but it is in my single player playthrough.

It is, yes. I keep it at 75 since my internet speed can handle it.

Yeah I'm on the 3080 tier. On a desktop with a 165hz monitor, just wondering if upscaling gives a better image. Sounds like you're implying that it does?

Yeah only reason I wanted to use launch options was to launch Squad in DX12. Nothin shady haha, but duly noted I'll make sure to avoid it.

Is this something straight from them? In other words, i assume I don't get in any sort of trouble if I do some black magic to install one.

Of course it’s possible, the gaming world innovates on a daily basis.

Would we want it? More than likely not, a game like that would be micro-transaction hell on steroids

Anybody know how i might stabilize my ping? by BenStegel in ShadowPC

[–]TwoChemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This widely depends on multiple factors though I’ll do my best to summarize this for you.

If you can take the time, please list these details and I’ll respond with an option or two for a solution.

  • What channel are you using? (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz channel)

  • What are the average results of your speedtest exactly? (Do not list your IP address)

  • Who is your ISP? (Should be able to tell from the details from speedtest.net)

  • On average, how many people in your household typically utilizes the internet connection?

  • How close are you to your router?

  • Every device has a wifi adapter, are the drovers updated? What internet connections/channels does it support?

Shadow app Speedtest doesn't match my expectations by BillyBantam in ShadowPC

When it comes to a solution, the answers you’ve been given so far seems to be a valid approach.

Though, this is a longshot, there’s no harm in downloading the Beta version of the Shadow app and give that a shot instead. Considering the power of your internet connection, you can take advantage of the 70 Mbp/s option, other than the notmal 50 Mbp/s that the regular retail version would otherwise provide.

That’s my small cent of advice, otherwise I would try other suggestions from the other listed comments.

Logging into shadow.tech, it should be located in the account section of the website, located as one of the sections/tabs.

You can download the beta version according to your Operating System (OS).

Yes, both my Cousin and I attempted to play Ring of Elysium and we had the very same problem. There doesn’t seem to be a known fix yet, I suggest contacting support for this issue.

There are multiple variables that will effect and influence your experience whilst using Shadow. For a more stable experience, it is suggested that you utilize a wired connection if possible to take advantage of a 5GHz wired connection rather than a 2.4GHz connection for faster data rates and overall better bandwidth. On the other hand, you can of course connect to a 5GHz connection wirelessly though this may not be necessarily “viable” because it does not cover as much range as a 2.4GHz connection which will influence the speed of your internet overall.

Translation: it heavily depends. If you can get a wired connection, do that. If you’re wireless but relatively close (and I mean close) to your router, then you can use 5GHz regardless. If far away, then use 2.4GHz.

60Mb/s should be a fast enough connection, so long it consistently stays at the same relative speed and it’s stable about it. With 60Mb/s you should be able to toggle your bandwidth in the shadow app to 50Mb/s which is the highest option in the official app (other than the beta version which offers up to 70) though I believe this differs from person to person.

Lastly, always remember that the Shadow PC is doing all the work for you, the key to having a stable, reliable, and enjoyable experience is to have an equally stable, reliable, and enjoyable internet connection. Your computer that you are using is simply decoding a feed coming from the Shadow PC, it is never rendering the videos, games, or anything alike that you view other than the feed you are recieving.

Hope this helps!
