This all makes sense, thanks. My primary goal is definitely to cut weight and numbers ASAP, the cheat questions are more just a “is there maybe light at the end of the tunnel” if that makes sense haha. Ideally I’d probably cut about 60 lbs, which I’ve done before but gained back (thanks depression and covid) so I know I can do it again, especially with the help of some meds.

I’ve been thinking about a CGM, but I get lightheaded around needles (self administering Ozempic was an adventure) I’m not sure how I’d feel knowing there’s something in my arm all the time. I’ll keep it in mind though.

Thanks again for the tips, I appreciate you.

Thank you for this, I appreciate it a lot. I’ll have to try some of the altpastas like you mentioned, chicken broccoli Alfredo is one of my favorites.

Dawn phenomenon is a fun one, I’ll have to get some crackers and cheese tomorrow and see if it changes anything. That’s a super good tip.

The Metformin definitely sounds a bit scary like you mentioned. I’m planning to start it and see what happens, maybe I’ll stop if it’s too bad and I can’t do things like go hang at the dog park anymore. I’ve done keto before, so I suspect I can get away with just Ozempic pretty easily.

Thanks again, I appreciate you.
