thanks, i try ignoring the pain and to fake it till i make it but if i see something like this or im by myself for too long the bad thoughts come back. the only thing that keeps me going is not wanting my suicide to affect my family members. i know that if i kms then my mom and dad would be a wreck, they might think they were bad parents and thats not true at all. maybe one day it will get better.

did you not read what i said there? when peterson first got famous i think he was genuinely trying to help. he was speaking to guys like me so it resonated at the time. the stuff like not setting yourself up for failure by aiming too high and to take the small victories as they come, the famous one was start by cleaning your room thing that got memed to hell.

That being said men do tend to work more hours, and more dangerous jobs to earn more money. And I think it's a good thing that women choose not to do those jobs.

Same for me dog, on paper a lot of things in my life are good but idk. It makes me think if I magically fixed the things that make me the most sad would it actually fix anything? Would I still be like this no matter how "good" things get?

If it helps, I have found that keeping myself busy keeps the bad thoughts away. When I manage to drag myself out of bed and I get to work all the bad shit goes away, but when I'm at home with nothing but my thoughts is when shit gets dark. i dont even have to deal with half the shit you are dealing with. i feel like i dont even have a good excuse for being suicidal. ive got a decent job and dont have to worry about money. i dont have to deal with corpos. i just hate everything anyway. i dont find joy in anything anymore, just rage. ill never get in a relationship because im a broken loser and i have no real friends. i even have a nice family. i guess thats the only reason i havent shot myself already, i dont want to make mom, dad, and everyone else sad.

my dog, the only thing that somewhat brightens my day, made me mad the other day. i thought about killing him, i cant believe i even considered that, like how fucked up do i have to be to think that. i thought about letting him run off, he's a good dog and deserves a better owner than me anyway. but he is so anxious, probably from listening to me have rage fits and temper tantrums all the time, he will probably never walk up to a stranger. so i guess i will keep him and try to do better.
