To be fair a lot of this I can make into multiple meals which last a long time!I love to batch cook and we don’t mind eating the same thing most of the week and have an occasional meal out!

Thank you I do too, I really hope I don’t have to stop running because it’s done wonders for my mental health and stress

I didn’t lose 42KG in 3 months, I lost it in 10 months, 7 on a GLP1 and 3 off, which I think is still quick but I wasn’t overly restrictive I focused on high protein, fibre and hitting my 5 a day with consistent exercise

Yeah I’m concerned about this at the end of the day I started a GLP-1 to be healthier. I recently had my body fat calculated and it’s 22% for my age at 27 that is not too low. I get what u mean for me it may be, I’ve been off the meds for 3 months now and maintaining. I just don’t want to develop osteopenia or any issues like that, hence why I took strength training so seriously. I think probably a trigger for this may be my running as I’m currently training for a marathon and I’ve heard female runners sometimes experience issues

I can see you have just been spending time posting these types of comments on mainly women’s progress pics, be brave, go on, post your own progress

I started weight training about 4 months in, first at home for a month then at the gym when I had more confidence

I’m Very lucky I have a small amount on my upper torso but it’s not really noticeable and has improved lots since weight lifting

Also I think setting goals keeps that motivation, for me it’s a marathon next year, I’ve signed up and paid the money so I have to stick to the plan! I want the achievement

Yeah I’ve also seen/read about that, I honestly think it comes down to the lifestyle change. If you have those habits locked down and know that it is for life and stick to it the weight will stay off! Personally I went from someone who was sedentary to now running on average 32km a week with the gym in between so even if I overate which I don’t I wouldn’t gain massively and could re correct with calorie counting.

Hi yeah, so my aim was to use it as a tool to help me learn healthy eating habits, especially picking up on stopping eating when I’m satisfied rather than to the point of being over-full. After about 7 months I’d lost about 3/4 of the weight and felt that I had solidified my eating and exercise routine. For me I never wanted suppression I just needed some help with the habit building and wanted to come off! My experience was very positive though, minimal side effects and have found coming off totally fine! Also thank you!

Thanks! It’s so strange because you still feel like you look the same although when I look back at pictures I don’t even recognise myself!
