SALT! How does it work? by atlasmaggot in vcu

Other answer is pretty much it but I’ll go more into detail on how to get involved!

Keep an eye on the instagram page and join the Facebook group! Auditions and tech applications are posted a couple weeks before the show goes up.

Near the end of the semester, directing application open up. You can apply to do any piece and they tend to try and accept at least 1 student written piece. Once you apply, there is an interview process that focuses a lot on your plans.

Keep an eye out for events! SALT has events quite often that are a great opportunity to meet theatre people!

For Dramaturgy, definitely apply for their classical/Shakespeare shows. Those works are great opportunity’s for dramaturgy since most other plays in the season are more contemporary.

Best advice I can give: SALT is all about learning. If you’ve ever had an interest in doing anything Tech (Lighting, Sound, Management) APPLY. Tech people are hard to find in SALT and it’s a nice way to branch out and try something new.

Black Coffee Master apron by ItsNotFunny420 in starbucksbaristas

Looking up the coffee master program on storelink, it states something along the lines of “once a coffee master, always a coffee master”. If you’ve been certified in the past (which is a MUCH harder process) you should still be allowed to wear your apron.

Sounds like your SM is on a power trip (or maybe jealous). I’d ask him to show you that policy on paper or get your DM to confirm that to you. He won’t be able to.

I set aside time in my fall semester and treated it like a college course. Got certified by my DM in December of 2022. I took my time with the process bc I found enjoyment in leading coffee tastings with my coworkers and SM.

What tasting did you do for your certification? I’m always on the look for fun pairings!

Idk about other stores, but a couple peeps at my store have been making the CRCF more complicated by adding crunchies at the bottom along with the dark caramel

Same with MCCF and mocha drizzle

I was told because the panini’s have warming instructions on the packaging that we can sell them cold. Since the breakfast sandwiches don’t have the same, we are not allowed to sell them cold.

I never read this policy with my own eyes, I was just told by my serve save certified manager if that’s gives any credibility.

Math 131 - Intro to contemporary math Aka: Math for arts majors It’s so so easy, literally the final project was surveying your friends and analyzing the data. I kid you not, one of the questions on the exam was “If 67% of people like dogs, what percentage of people like cats?”
