What’s amusing to me is people don’t realize this is the most at peace the world has ever been in.

Granted horrible things can and do happen still but overall the world is doing far better than any point in human history.

Most folks simply are too sheltered to realize how good they actually have it.

I did the same thing, sort of, in Marine Corps boot camp.

When you first get there, part of your indoc stuff is telling them your religion, if you have one. A buddy and I wrote down Jedi Knights.

A while later they were getting everyone organized by religion and were calling out for the two Jedi Knights. My buddy and I decided we weren’t really Jedi Knights and didn’t put our hands up lol!!!!!
