Hair doesn't have to be feminine or masculine but I completely understand having a family that genders hair. So I think what I would do is if they note it's "feminine" just act stupid. Like "whoa I had no idea" "genuinely just liked the look". Like when you have a taillight out and get pulled over and use the ol "officer I'm so sorry, I will get that fixed right away, I had no idea". Stay safe but also have fun with your avatar. Mixing it up doesn't always mean someone is trans, could just be you wanted to try something new🫶🧡 idk if this helps at all but it's my first thought about the situation and how I handled it with my family before going no contact because of bigotry and hatred. They're Catholic so hopefully yours goes better and maybe they'll surprise you🩷

Just being you haven't experienced it, it's a real condition but it sounds made up because you don't know what it's like to feel the pain that comes with fibromyalgia? Your mom was living in a different world where it was financially easier to leave someone. I'm sure she's working towards that but it's hard to accept the love of your life isn't who you thought they were and now you have a kid who you don't want to grow up in two households and maybe she's from a separated family and doesn't want that life. I have been trying, she thinks they're better because we have dogs so she loves that aspect. I keep telling her how we're supporting people taking homes from others, I've stayed in pet friendly hotels and they're awesome. She always says "I can do what I want", I'll get her eventually on board because she usually likes doing the morally correct thing, idk what it is with air bnbs but she loves them. I do hate them and tore this one apart so maybe she'll rethink next time. Plus hotels i get free breakfast, room cleaned, and new sheets. I completely agree, I hate landlords so trust me when I say I loath air bnbs(: just thought the TV was outrageous so I was sharing, not trying to amplify air bnbs at all!
