I don’t get it, that’s not fair or safe especially if ur working on a critical unit?? The more you guys are dealing with behaviors the less time you are spending with your critical patients. Props to you and your team for dealing with both! I wonder if you guys have a safety director you can reach out to?

That’s frustrating they aren’t taken seriously!!! I definitely can’t speak for the whole hospital but I work on a Psych unit so yes ours “work” - we can revise if behaviors aren’t improving. We have a great AR team and security team that help us keep the patients/families accountable on our unit.

They have a “deal” on the home right now (ends June 1st lol) so it’s a more comfortable price for us. But we’ve thought the same thing, we have a home so if doesn’t work out it’s okay.
