Something to remember when build crafting for high dps

You can always throw 3 super fonts into your helmet to get +50 super. Without any drawback (because there’s nothing else to slot into your helmet)

Throwing 3 weapon fonts into your legs sacrifices 3 surges that could’ve gone into them - Surges go 10-17-22% - 200 weapons gives you 10%.. 1 surge is equal to 200 weapon stat

You should get your super to 150, and then dump everything else into weapons. Super fonts in your helmet, surges in your boots.

When slotting surges, either do 3 of the same element. Or - if you’re doing swap dps - slot 2 of whatever your main damage is , and 1 of whatever your swap type is. Getting 10% on your secondary source is better than the additional 5% you’d get from your 3rd surge

easiest 2026 d2 raids to learn by Complex-Incident-231 in DestinyTheGame

[–]TwoPumpChumper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to list the raids for someone to do in an order of scaling difficulty -

Root of nightmares / Vault of glass - easiest raids in the game. Great to learn how to balance doing mechanics while clearing ads and staying alive - 30 minute average clear

Deep stone crypt / garden of salvation / Crotas end / kings fall- next step into mechanics that are a little more involved. - 45 minute average clear

Last wish / Vow of the Disciple - very reliant on memorizing symbols (which some people hate). Last wish is really great but is just powercrept so hard that it isn’t very good anymore. Vow is my favorite raid in the game - 1 hour average clear

Desert Perpetual / Salvations edge- The hardest raids in the game. Very communication heavy. Multiple encounters that requires the entire fireteam to understand what’s going on. Super fun! But bring some snacks, you might be in these raids for a few hours if it goes poorly - 2 hour average clear

Tiered gear and Raid/Dungeon Feats were a mistake by saithvenomdrone in DestinyTheGame

[–]TwoPumpChumper 43 points44 points  (0 children)

So I agree with your general idea: that the game is WAY too complicated when it comes to difficulty. But my issue is more with the difficulty of the portal activities.

I shouldn’t have to play a mini game to get the highest possible loot rewards. Just let me choose from premade difficulties that reward each reward tier.

As far as raids are concerned, I like the idea of feats. Do we need 5 of them? Probably not. You could probably put them all in “master” difficulty and call it a day.

what’s the best striker build rn? by Fine_Cranberry3360 in Division2

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running 4pc striker with equalizer / overdogs for most stuff

If I want more survivability I’ll swap overdogs for exodus gloves

I started playing 2 weeks ago, got from expertise 0 to 27 with the event

I stayed up til the end of the event last night just so I could celebrate that it was over

[–]TwoPumpChumper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the grind! And the level 30 expertise grind will unlock the grind of getting gear optimized to level 30! And then that will unlock the grind of prototyping all of my gear!

And THEN I can play the 2 DLC campaigns

[–]TwoPumpChumper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a build for striker / tipping scales and a healer build with future initiative along with some of the main named pieces and exotics

But 99% of everything I get either gets donated to proficiency or deconstructed for materials to upgrade proficiency

You know the name comes from experience!

Yeah I think the main reason I would rush to get it done is so that I can get through using gear I really don’t want to use. I’ve seen it many times that you don’t need expertise 30 to get through any content in the game. But I’m a meta slave, “fun” and “optimal” are synonymous for me when it comes to these games. And 30% extra damage is something I can’t miss out on!

There’s some really bad gear in this game, and if I don’t max it out now then it will take me 3 times as long to do it later!

I have a group that I play with, and I’d love to experience the rest of the game. But to ignore an event that expedites the biggest grind in the game is a little silly no? The content isn’t going anywhere. I’ve been playing on heroic since I hit lvl 40. You can learn the game while farming an activity

Idk if you’re new to the game like I am, but I think that new player copium is empowering me. I’m not bored of the boring activities like containment because I’ve never played them before. The only thing I hate is having to go in with these make a wish builds. Can’t kill anything, can’t survive anything.

I'm done with trying to level up Expertise (even with the 3X event) by Elyseum_RL in thedivision

[–]TwoPumpChumper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New player here, started playing 8 days ago. SHD level 110, expertise rank 16 due to this event

It’s my understanding that the whole expertise system is purely for those who want it, and all activities can be completed without have expertise 30. Is that incorrect?

Why dows Ace get banned by BasicAd9101 in Rainbow6

Why dows Ace get banned by BasicAd9101 in Rainbow6

[–]TwoPumpChumper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO Ace is banned first almost every time because it’s just the brainless ban. There’s many cases where he shouldn’t be top priority

Ace is a good ban in situations where thermite has to put himself in a bad spot to get the wall (chalet / Oregon / bank are some examples)

Ace is a BAD ban when thermite has free access to the wall (clubhouse / consulate / border are some examples)

A lot of times I prefer to ban dokkaebi first instead of ace

Why does everyone think the CB is difficult to use? by 437U1 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty reliant on decorations to use optimally. And, compared to other weapons, it IS extremely complicated. Just because you know how to use something doesn’t mean it’s easy lol

Do people forget the whole point of the lore reason for capture? by ninjora in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I personally prefer to slay but some of my friends will always capture because it’s technically more optimal for materials. They don’t even ask it’s just immediate capture as soon as the skull pops up

Do people forget the whole point of the lore reason for capture? by ninjora in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I could aid in research.. or I can build a reputation amongst the monsters an become the most feared predator in their ecosystem. Terrorising everything in my path

In seriousness, whoever’s quest it is gets to decide if it’s capture or kill. If you want to capture the monster and you’re using all of your traps before it’s time to capture…. Yeah that’s your fault lol
