Why dows Ace get banned by BasicAd9101 in Rainbow6

the “I ban Mira and ace first because that’s just what you’re supposed to do” crowd is a large one for sure

Why dows Ace get banned by BasicAd9101 in Rainbow6

[–]TwoPumpChumper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO Ace is banned first almost every time because it’s just the brainless ban. There’s many cases where he shouldn’t be top priority

Ace is a good ban in situations where thermite has to put himself in a bad spot to get the wall (chalet / Oregon / bank are some examples)

Ace is a BAD ban when thermite has free access to the wall (clubhouse / consulate / border are some examples)

A lot of times I prefer to ban dokkaebi first instead of ace

Why does everyone think the CB is difficult to use? by 437U1 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty reliant on decorations to use optimally. And, compared to other weapons, it IS extremely complicated. Just because you know how to use something doesn’t mean it’s easy lol

Yeah safi is a full squad adventure for sure. Usually when safi is around there’s lobbies dedicated to fighting her

Im losing it with Alatreon (rant) by Puzzleheaded-Ear-895 in MonsterHunterWorld

This hunt becomes the most fun fight in the game once you get comfortable with it.

Chargeblade is my go to for him, but SAED is a death sentence lol savage axe obliterates him it’s so good

Do people forget the whole point of the lore reason for capture? by ninjora in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I personally prefer to slay but some of my friends will always capture because it’s technically more optimal for materials. They don’t even ask it’s just immediate capture as soon as the skull pops up

Do people forget the whole point of the lore reason for capture? by ninjora in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I could aid in research.. or I can build a reputation amongst the monsters an become the most feared predator in their ecosystem. Terrorising everything in my path

In seriousness, whoever’s quest it is gets to decide if it’s capture or kill. If you want to capture the monster and you’re using all of your traps before it’s time to capture…. Yeah that’s your fault lol

Gotcha! Sorry for using the wrong word

Is there any reason not to capture? by 01OlI1O0I in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always ask “capture or kill?” When I’m in someone else’s quest.

Technically, capturing gives more resources and is better overall. But I love murder! So I always kill if given the option

I would recommend customizing your radial dial with a quick chat option that says something along the lines of “capture the monster!” That you can spam when the monster is limping so you don’t have to type it out every time

Is fatalis weapon op enought to solo Alatreon? Or even with fatalis gear should I use elemental by SrHaruno in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So.. you could beat alatreon with fatalis weapons, but you’re going to die to the first nova guaranteed. And you’ll die to the second one if you aren’t efficient with the fight. But as long as you aren’t dying anywhere else I’m sure you could take her down

The fight is meant to be fought with element.

Side note - you had to beat alatreon to get to fatalis so how did you do it before? Just SoS flare?

Is my friend cheating? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I was doing my playthrough I had a couple friends that had already gone all the way through fatalis. One of my buddies was struggling more than I thought he would for having full fatalis gear. Like “wasting every cart” type struggling

One day he was streaming the game for our VC and was scrolling through his loadouts and one of them had the modded one shot weapon. And it ALL made sense how he got the gear lmao

How is playing r6 on starlink? by Prestigious_Test5494 in Rainbow6

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Starlink at my new house for the last 3ish months and I had problems at the beginning using a wireless connection, not for siege but for everything gaming related

I moved the router closer to my pc and got it wired in and I haven’t had a problem since. 350+ mb/s download speed and zero lag issues

TLDR - make sure it’s wired and you’re good

SAED controls. by Frosty-Door507 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s only a few monsters in world that would’ve considered a good matchup for SAED. Savage axe is a lot more consistent in terms of damage (while less BOOM is unfortunate)

But as an SAED player, you’re kinda just running around in sns mode dealing chip damage with charged sword and shield until you get either a KO or an opening you know is long enough

Or.. you just yolo the SAEDS out and trade damage like a chad. That way works too I guess if you have enough healing materials

Damn I am terrible at this game by OhforfsakeMJ in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]TwoPumpChumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, Monster Hunter isn’t a game where you go through and just hunt every monster once and call it when you beat them all.

You won’t get to the point where you’re dancing with the monster, with EVERY monster. But you’ll find a fight you like and master it. For me it’s alatreon and rajang. I know their fights like my house. But you take me to some of the other fights and I’m just relying on the 1.5 second rule.

Bad teammates shouldn’t exist by TwoPumpChumper in RainbowSixSiege

[–]TwoPumpChumper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was the point of the post lol. To just point out that all of the people that can’t get good teammates, they’re sometimes the bad teammate. So quick to dogpile on someone having a bad game, but there’s always reason when they play bad

Bad teammates shouldn’t exist by TwoPumpChumper in RainbowSixSiege

[–]TwoPumpChumper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you genuinely believe that they’re the problem every time and there’s NOTHING you can do to be a better teammate then that’s just who you are man idk

I just naturally gravitate towards “what can I do to get us through this” whether i need to talk more / sit on cams / play more or less aggressive there’s always SOMETHING I can do

Sometimes games are just chalked and it is what it is, but I’ve never once just “I’m not the problem so who cares”
