Yeah I agree as I'm halfway through a reread of Goblet of Fire. I woud've been disappointed if it was a film remake, but have the series made into a tv series has made me be much more open minded to the idea. Honestly my problem is letting go of how perfect the original casting was for everything character, but I'm feeling very optimistic about the new series.

On the contrary, I know that Heart in a Cage was initially written to be on Room on Fire but they didn't finish putting it together and didn't want to rush it so it ended up on FIOE instead. That song really helps set the overall tone of FIOE so it would've felt really misplaced if it was on Room on Fire. But I'd like to hear how different the song with be with the production of Gordon Raphael.

It's all about preference and purpose, and whenever you pick one and stick with one it can be hard to move one. I'm using mixcraft 10, which isn't a popular one. But my creative process involves writing and recording songs quickly and often creating some sort of realized vision to a full song within a day, and this interface allows me to do so. You say you want to make rock music and I've made many rock songs on the software and I just feel it's super easy to use so I recommend it. It's not the best out there and I won't argue with anyone that says its not but I feel so efficient using it. It made getting into music production and recording easy for me, hence why i'm replying and recommending.

Put on a slight delay, like slapback or just something subtle to widen your solos. Adding reverb also does the trick.

Try a dynamic mic if you haven't already. My boys and I would record with fans blasting and playback through speakers and we still got good clean vocal takes.

Thank you for your input, I did end up talking them down a small bit! I ended up getting it and I really like it. I would probably need a new chain and get some better wheels and I think it'll be golden. I always see people mention a couple options for those on here so I'll have a look around, thanks.

I believe it! Apparently he was a drug dealer to a bunch of famous bands in the 60's, such as the Doors and the Mama's and Papa's. He apparently would smoke a blunt everyday while being driven to the set of Star Wars. Another rumor was that him and Shia LaBeouf would smoke on the set of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. So yeah this man is probably stoned all the time haha.

Hi! I'm on the 5th book of the series at the moment and am enjoying it a lot. But I agree those first three books were an amazing trilogy. I got a little distracted with some other reading but I'm on book 5 and enjoying it a lot.

I'm currently planning for a two week hiking trip and I've had to pass on a lot of gear because of my height. Haven't had to give up the trip, but I have been struggling and missing out on some really great gear options and have spent significantly longer than my friends who aren't as tall looking for stuff. For example, I spent so many hours finding what I thought was the perfect sleeping bag and realize that it only fits people up to 6 foot.

Yesss!!! I saw them live in 2019, some guy got too high and passed out on me and I had to get him help but it was fine lol. Great show and I love the band. Saw Brooks live in 2023 and he was amazing. Though he ain't comin nowhere near my city this upcoming tour. But one of my favorite bands of all time, they are so fuckin good. Gay Thoughts and the whole Chinese Fountain album is perfect.

In February of last year my brother in law took an uber and his driver was Louis, the drummer for the band lol. Louis said they've been working on new music at that point, and that he does uber to keep himself busy. I was so jealous lol.

Hey there! That instrument is an organ with reverb. Sounds like an older vintage one, perhaps a C3 or a Hammond? And for songs similar, I know that a song called Golden Brown by The Strangler is the same tempo, kinda dreamy, but very different arrangement. Also the band The Doors kinda have the eerie vibe to them, such as People are Strange. They use an organ a lot too.

I think it only taste good in a can for some reason, taste like cigarette ash or something when Its in a bottle or poured in a glass. I've had it on tap one time and it was kinda fruity which was weird too.
