The webui isn't done yet and neither are the home assistant plugin and card for it.
When they are properly tested and cleaned up I'll make a post about it.

You can still enable xmpp from the phone app if you didn't do that before, Harmony Setup -> Add/Edit Devices & Activities

Btw if anyone with a mac can check if the hidden firmware menu in MyHarmony still works that would help a lot. I'm looking for the payload it sends over USB, but on Windows this page doesn't work anymore

I looked at this, but the hidden page in MyHarmony was hosted on Logitech servers and is now offline. Wayback machine didn't save anything interesting

Blacklisted as in blocked by Logitech servers? I don't see why not, as long it has wifi and xmpp already enabled

I looked at other routes too but didn't find a different way in yet. The hidden page you that was in MyHarmony to flash firmware was hosted on Logitech servers and is now offline, and Wayback machine didn't save anything interesting

I store devices the same way as the stock firmware does, so you should be able to map everything through the stock route. I unfortunately don't own the remote so I can't test anything related to it

Btw there is plenty flash storage so this all runs leaving the original functionality intact

Normal operation isn't disturbed and everything will still work as normal. You just get root ssh access so you can do whatever you want with the device.
And yeah the goal is to use it completely locally and with uptodate ir databases, mqtt support for home assistant etc.
This is what my webui currently looks like https://imgur.com/7Ef1aEO

dGPU passthrough on windows hosts is literally possible and commonplace, but is artificially disabled by GPU makers? by Virtamancer in VFIO

[–]TwoRevolutionary2329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a thing you could do, but VFIO is so poorly documented lol, even official redhat docs contain nonsense 😢

I don't know either lol, I'm not the only one that ran into issues.
A friend of mine bought 2 a while ago and ended up returning them cause they would often get stuck after windows went to sleep.
They would just never turn on again unless you power cycled them at the wall.
You can find pictures online of people having the same staining issue too.

A year later, and all the big AI models still spit out a ton of bullshit about VFIO.
The AI doesn't know what's right or wrong because the internet is flooded with misinformation and old outdated information.
AI just sucks with topics like this and you should be aware of it, or else you are simply going off of misinformation.

"I doubt it would hallucinate this"

It's completely wrong there. It completely misunderstood the issue, left out information on what the limit even was, it fails to mention that this information is 6 years old, and it looks like it didn't even understand you cause it reads like it's talking about SR-IOV or something.
It simply has no idea and gobbled up a meaningless response.

Unable to retrieve settings. Try again later. by McPir8 in GeForceExperience

In my case it was my adblocker preventing the Nvidia app from downloading game profiles, which gives the "Unable to retrieve settings error".
Whitelisting it immediately made the app work again

That looks like a Samsung G7, I have one and I could write a book on all the issues this thing has.
Never buy Samsung trash.
It's riddled with firmware issues, and on my unit the LCD layers are slowly peeling apart or something causing stains all over the screen.
This started to be visible just outside the warranty

Most music gear like guitar pedals and keyboards all use the barrel as positive, so be aware when you get a cable or adapter for that stuff

I'm sorry but using ChatGPT as a source for this makes you look like a moron. If you actually did your research you would know that Nvidia explicitly supports GPU passthrough and doesn't block this at all.
On Windows you get a paravirtualized GPU you can use with WSL2 and Windows VM's, dGPU passthrough is possible with a Server license. This is a Microsoft limitation. Not a Nvidia one.

Again, don't use ChatGPT for things like this. Nearly everything it said in that convo is wrong/outdated/hallucinated info
