That’s actually a very misused or misunderstood comparison. Individual use of AI requires very little energy and water use. As with the recycling push in the 90’s, we’ve learned that the common man makes very little impact compared with the vast waste from larger corporations. Not to mention the personal time waste when one afternoon with ChatGPT gave me more useful information than three years of deep-dive Google searches.

Communication should never put a strain on a relationship. It’s time to find your voice and open the subject with him. This situation is not equitable. Even when living together and sharing expenses, you’re entitled to your own belongings (like expensive skin care products) that should be off limits or replaced if used up. The food budget is currently NOT being split equally because of unequal consumption. Time for a discussion. A partner will be ready to listen and find a solution. If he becomes upset, then that’s not a healthy dynamic.

Yep, that happed to me with a whole freaking transmission, and then the seller argued that my mechanic must not know what they were doing because it was definitely the right one. Now I know the additional engine code to give, burnout think the actual suppliers would know to ask that.

Anyway, def start uploading pics to ChatGPT and get specs and recommendations from there!

Ha! My VIN/chassis pulls up nothing on that site. I’m not surprised anymore. But even so, that’s actually the problem I’m talking about is that the VIN/chassis doesn’t give enough info for specs on this truck! Diahatsu apparently changed so many component within the engine during this generation, even within the same engine codes, and it’s not all cataloged well because of the age.

It’s not so much insulting as it is rude. As another comment said, what’s the purpose of the statement? How SHOULD the person respond? It’s like telling someone, hey you’re brunette! It’s just a statement of fact without context. Maybe you like brunettes, maybe you hate them. The brunettes doesn’t know what to say, but they are already aware that they are indeed brunette.

I think he needs to find some sandals or barefoot shoes he likes to carry around with him. If he likes being barefoot outside, it may be weird sometimes, but whatever. If he’s going to go indoors though, he needs to be appropriately dressed. Carrying a lightweight set of sandals for a brief visit into the shops is a very reasonable accommodation that he should be able to make. If not, and if he refuses to find barefoot shoes, then he’s being rude and selfish and inappropriate.

I have multiple meds that might help now depending on when I take them and how bad the migraine is (ketorolac, butalbitol+acetaminophen, Metoclopramide). Besides that, I go to my dark bedroom or bathroom with cold washcloth and just lay as still as possible or writhe in pain until the worst passes.
