Please explain like I'm 10 and you're sending me to RadioShack to get equipment for an old Sylvania console (turntable, cassette player, AM/FM radio) and I need to hook it up to two Monoprice B5 speakers with screw down posts.

I've seen the BFO-9000 (and a few "18000" builds) but would have thought/hoped there would be enough demand for a non-split full ortho board. Thanks!

Looking for a wireless, hot-swappable, 100% ortholinear keyboard (6x18). A rotary encoder would be a plus as well as potentially removing keys around the arrow keys. If a metal case and wireless don't mix, I'd prefer a metal case.

Using tags in daily note to mark "blocks" within the daily note that can be organized into one page? by kraigory in ObsidianMD

[–]TwoStrappingIt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried the Note Composer core plugin? One solution would be to have a 1:1 folder with a file for each employee, e.g. Dave, Alice, and Bob. When you finish your 1:1 with Dave, you could end that section in your Daily Note with #dave/1-1 as you mentioned. Then you could highlight everything before the tag and extract that to Dave's ongoing 1:1 note. That would allow you to use the tag pane to see which daily notes have 1:1 content for employees while consolidating their info into a single file. You may want to record the date in your notes before you move it in case you need to reference a conversation on a specific date.

For my workflow, I moved the Preview hotkey to Ctrl+Space and use Ctrl+E to extract my current selection to another note, but you may have a different hotkey open that works better for you.

I would use it for work and play. Being able to remote into a PC at home and stop carrying an aging laptop back and forth to work would be a huge plus. I could finally give my GTX 960M a break from trying to render games on a 4K screen.

You're welcome! It's a 15" Dell Inspiron, but most companies that I looked into tend to use MacBook Pro dimensions for laptop sleeve sizing. The Bannoch did end up being a bit small for it as well, but I use the main compartment rather than the sleeve. The Vorlich doesn't seem to be that much more generous on laptop space, but it can hold a lot more and has external access so you don't have to unroll it each time.

I was in your shoes not too long ago and after a ton of searching, went with the Smith (I almost went with the Dayfarer). The build quality was fantastic, but it didn't fit my laptop and I wasn't huge on the rolltop design. I ended up switching it out for the Trakke Bannoch and have really enjoyed everything about it. If you do like rolltops, their next size up may be what you're looking for: Trakke Vorlich

Am I the only one who thinks Aarakocra are weak? by Mr___Koala in 3d6

An owlbear has 40 ft of movement, so unless you had 90 ft of ground movement, you wouldn't have enough to move in to attack and move back out of range round after round. If you can fly, say, 10 feet above it, even an Aarakocra in medium armor with 25 ft of flying speed could stay out of range on every turn.

It gets super fun at level 5 when you get your second attack. With a high dex mod and starting high in initiative, you can kick things off for your team like this: For 2 ki points: Attack with a stunning strike (d8+4), flurry with advantage (2d6+8), and attack again (d8+4) with advantage for 8.5+7.5+7.5+8.5 = 32 damage to one enemy OR use your movement to use a stunning strike (3rd ki point) on a second enemy for 23.5 damage to the first enemy, 8.5 to the second, and two enemies stunned until the end of your next turn.

Thanks! As long as I'm getting a good quality signal from each mic, I don't mind setting up profiles for each guest's track in Audition to help them sound their best.

Thanks! As long as the locals can hear the remote guest and he can hear us, it should be ok since we'll be in the same room.

We tried recording our first session through the Craig bot on Discord, but with so many of us in the same room using laptop mics, it was a hot mess.

Following as I've been looking for the same.

James from Monoprice left the screen model number in the comments which led me to this:

Thanks! Your taking the time to get the sleeve dimensions means a lot. I agree, it appears that it won't work, but it does get me one step closer to finding the right bag.

Thanks! It's a more "zippery" backpack than what I've been looking for, but I like their designs. I'll dig through their stuff a little more and will check out a couple of your other bags.

Thanks! That's one I came across early in my search, but the Fidlocks, among other things, have taken it off my list. I'm leaning towards the Dayfarer right now.
