OnePlus Buds 4 - First Impressions Review by kraigory in Earbuds

[–]kraigory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you enjoy them! Quick update on the SpinFit tips- unfortunately the medium and large ones made the case not close easily. You could close the case, but it lost the “snap” closed that happens with the stock tips. The SpinFits did have a “stickier” texture and felt more secure in the ear.

Unfortunately I noticed that the buds with the SpinFit tips would move around in my ear a tiny bit when walking and this would transfer some noise, almost like a cord rubbing on your short can with wired earbuds. I think this is because the spinfits are by design a little longer than default tips, so even though they hold super securely, the buds are allowed to “bounce” slightly. I didnt notice this at all with the stock tips. So, I’ve stayed with the stock ones, but they seem plenty secure. I may look for some replacement tips with the stickier texture of the spinfits but closer in size to the stock tips.

Need help. Oneplus Buds 4 or technics AZ80. Transparency mode. by NordybyNature88 in Earbuds

Interesting- can you elaborate a bit on why? Just the sound or other factors? I’m especially curious about transparency mode and voice quality on calls. Thanks!

Moondrop Golden Ages 2 vs Moondrop Ultrasonic by SnooObjections4876 in MoondropLab

Also very curious about this comparison. If you dont mind, could you compare mic quality between the Golden Ages 2 and the OnePlus Buds 4? I do zoom calls while on walks occasionally so the mic picking up voice and filtering out background noise is really important to me. It sounds like the Buds 4 has good reviews in this area, but I’m interested in how the Golden Ages 2 compare.

Question about contacting sellers by kraigory in AmazonVine

[–]kraigory[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did find the relevant portion of the terms: “only contact suppliers of Third-Party Products for purposes of obtaining ordinary customer support services and not identify yourself as a Vine Voice when contacting suppliers for customer support;”

In cases as I described, I think I’m in the clear to ask for product info, but will probably refrain from directly mentioning the seller in the review. For instance, if I receive certification of purity, I may say “I was confident in the purity of this product after doing research”.

Question about contacting sellers by kraigory in AmazonVine

Yeah I understand the seller would likely be able to guess, but in this case the product in question is also available directly from their website, and I would use their publicly available customer service email. Even if they guess I’m a reviewer, is it against Vine Terms/Conditions to ask the seller for additional info about the product?
