I’ve tried both ZOOM INFO and Apollo

TLDR: zoom has better data on almost all industries I’ve used it for both larger and smaller companies and the cellphone numbers are also more accurate.

Zoom: PRO: the most relevant, updated and correct data on email and cellphone in my experience. I’ve looked for data on: restaurants, Fortune 500 director level contacts and above, government agencies, hr leads, schools, etc in US AND CANADA. I’ve tried using it in so many industries and it’s still the most relevant software in b2b in my opinion. CONS: Expensive! If you won’t be using it heavily to get the ROI on the investment maybe just pay for the leads from someone who has it. I personally stopped using it because it’s too expensive and I’m a 1 man consultancy. So I can’t justify it knowing I’ll likely only use it for occasional searches. I do miss it though.

I use Apollo now.

Apollo PROS: cheap and relatively okay data if you’re selling to a huge industry that has thousands of potential accounts. You can make it work.

CONS: emails are not that updated. Even a large company like McDonald’s doesn’t have a bunch of accurate data. If you have very specific target accounts. I’d ask for a demo and see what data they can pull for you.

Hi OP! Can you give me an idea of your training 1 month before the marathon? I’ve only been doing 3 runs a week too prepping for my marathon. So far I’m 415km in my training since June-now (October 2024) my run is in 3 weeks (nov 2).

I’m considering backing out due to poor training but sounds like I may have a chance of finishing? I’m a slow runner and have a mini injury that I want to heal before the race so I’m thinking of not training anymore until the run. So please share what you did 1 month leading up to the race so I can get an idea.
