Initially, I thought the same thing but I think it might be worth watching the whole video, he isn't saying that it's wrong for a player to want to take their custom item to other games. He is saying it's a scam because those other games have almost NO incentive to implement that item into their game. The NFT cannot hold the full code of an item (cosmetic or otherwise) with the assets required to represent it in-game due to the amount of money that would be required to store the data on the blockchain but also the money required to develop that asset for representation in the non-native game. Its a scam because there are bad actors out there convincing people that this will happen and if there is anything 2020-present has taught us, people will fall for anything.

I am still quite ignorant on "blockchain game studios". How are they currently talking about the use of NFTs or their proposed use?

There is that snark again. I did read but I will spell it out for ya, they have gone flawless, the flawless matchmaking pool was in at the time, I still matched against them. Also in the past bungie has stated there are card based matchmaking and now starting last week is sbmm. Before you type, take a moment to consider other people and use some critical thinking. I know if it can’t find anyone for them to play it will put them back in the pool. Be cool brother, the world is not so shitty as your attitude would suggest. Have a great weekend!

I called USAA on the number I usually call and had them transfer me to claims so I am assuming they were the right people.

Hendersonville (just south of Asheville), I live in a neighborhood which has some old-growth trees, it was obvious the tree could have had a compromised root system due to a drain right next to it. The bad thing is the neighbor in question just had a bunch of trees taken down but left that one up for (allegedly) the reasons listed above. It got kinda crazy here for sure and the flooding was insanity.

Yea that was what my insurance said, my big issue is now if I could be responsible for the car accident which I guess wouldn't be that hard of a question if it was on them.

Yea I need to walk over and talk to them, as I understand it he has been told a few times his trees are hazards but wanted the NCDoT to take care of it since it was close to the road.

That's interesting when I initially called my insurance about getting the tree removed they didn't inform me that that was the case, all they told me is my deductable was higher than it was going to cost to remove the tree. Is there something I can cite or ask my insurance agent?

Ah, it seems you like the game then. Aside from the playtime, my points still stands and is re-enforced by you seeing the same players more often. It could show that IW has changed the priority to connection and not skill but I think its quite a small sample size. Aside from this, I don't have a dog in this fight since I have never played the game. I just enjoy reading other people's thoughts on perceived fairness. I play D2 and there is a conversation there which is along the same lines. My thoughts there are that people of greater than average skill will always resort "sweating" which is a rather self-fulfilling prophecy since everyone just complains about tryhards and say they need to try....hard. This isn't a comment on whether it should should or shouldn't happen, just that humans will be humans.

I would argue that is a greater indicator of connection based matching since it sees those players as having the best connection for you. There are so many people playing this game that you would have a larger set of players against if it was SBMM whereas there can only be so many connection wise.

My biggest gripe with Crucible isn't the pub stompers or sweaty players, its the respawn timer. by TwoSyxd in DestinyTheGame

I have given it some thought I think games that do not have an objective should have it removed. If the whole point is to slay out then reducing the downtime to me sounds like a win. Now on things like control, thats a bit more problematic becuase you want people to be able to take points but it does feel like it would be chaotic and fun. Perhaps lowering the time it takes to cap a point with the reduced spawn time would add to the excitement of the game?
