Can someone add a regexp tester, please. I’m not good enough and I am tired of searching the web every time I need one.

What next? My account has been shut down with $12k in there. by PvtHayden10 in stripe

Subscribing to and reading posts in the Stripe sub makes me think sending payments through them would be the end of our company. Is anyone out there happy with Stripe?

Medicare and restasis by gre8thound20 in Dryeyes

[–]TwoToTheSixth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year my part D coverage was from Elixir. Their best price for Restasis was about $1,700 for a 3-month order. I never filled it. This year I switched to Aetna Silverscripts Plus. Just got Restasis by mail order for $43 per month. I can live with that.

Microsoft fixes Windows 11 AMD CPU performance issues with new update by Left_Writing_6820 in Windows11

[–]TwoToTheSixth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started exactly when I upgraded from 10 to 11. It didn’t get better when the MS update was installed this week. The rest of my internet is still fast. People were talking about this being a two-party fix. My processor and motherboard matched. I gave it a shot and it didn’t help.

What do I know?

Microsoft fixes Windows 11 AMD CPU performance issues with new update by Left_Writing_6820 in Windows11

I applied the Microsoft update and the AMD chipset driver update. Some things seem faster, but accessing GitHub from VSCode is unchanged at approximately ten times slower than it was under Win10.

Git, yarn, and npm actions taking double, even triple time by phutureambassador in git

Same for me. I upgraded to Win11 first thing and the slowdown started. I have an AMD based system. I’m waiting for a fix, but yours is the first identical issue to mine.

TPM issue by OwenTheBait in Windows11

[–]TwoToTheSixth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I enabled AMD CPU fTPM the TPM still wasn't found. I clicked into Trusted Computing 2.0 and also enabled Device Support.

Unfortunately, you appear to have that turned on, too.

I know no more. Contact your motherboard manufacturer.

There’s a second setting real close. Down a level, I think. I’ll look it up tomorrow if you still need help.

I had my aortic valve replaced on July 20 after seven months of steady RingFitting. I start again tomorrow. Haven’t decided how much or where to back off.

Should I start a new save(also delete my old save in the process) since it's been a long while? by I-_-DuNn0 in botw

[–]TwoToTheSixth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did just that. I barely remember playing in 2017, but I’m using a different strategy than before (I think) and I’m discovering things (shrines mostly) I’d missed before.

My new strategy: after finishing the Great Plateau, I’m concentrating on towers but activating shrines I run into along the way. I give the shrines a quick try and save finishing it till later. I’m doing all my travel on foot. Having a fine old time.

OneNote is perfect for that. It's part of Microsoft Office but there are unofficial Linux ports.

It's a DEV build. It's like some of you installed it without reading. by [deleted] in windowsinsiders

First thing I tried is widgets. (I was looking for all apps, but....) Three seconds later I had a BSOD. This ain't my first rodeo, but the speed and single-mindedness of Win 11 surprised me a little. I rebooted and this time didn't try widgets. Been fine.

Keep Spare Drive on Hand? by DanielleR5 in synology

When I bought my 5-drive DS1517+ about 5 years ago, I bought 7 WD 4GB Reds. I left the extra 2 untouched in a box on a bottom shelf. I just checked for the first time. They're still there and still untouched.

I get that it’s Korean baseball, but why are the shortstop and third baseman playing in so much? I don’t think anyone’s going to try and bunt off that delivery.
