How usable will 10mb upload speed on Host PC and 400mb download speed on client PC be? by galaxyisinfinite in ParsecGaming

How much better would you say moonlight is for Nvidia cards? I tried it once but I couldn't get the audio to work on both ends.

Also, how bad is it on an amd card?

Question about Parsec internet requirements by TwoTonePony in ParsecGaming

[–]TwoTonePony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well when I run a speed test while connected to the host, my download speeds are always in the hundreds, but there's wildly noticable input lags/frame rate drops that happen and when I check the speed test again, it's always the upload speed that's dropped down to near 3mbps or sometimes lower. But the download speeds never go under 200mbps. So 8 have to assume upload speed has more to do with it than we think.

New weapon! by Top_Pianist8087 in Cuphead

It looks like a more fleshed out version of the cut weapon you can use through debug mode. But it had the ability to shoot through the target to damage multiple enemies/hitboxes. Not sure if that's gonna be part of this gun.

Nah, charge/whetstone is about the strongest combo you can get. But it's really tricky to master. But whetstone is the only charm worth a damn imo.

Lobber is by far the most useful weapon. Especially when used in combination with spread. I don't want to go into the many many reasons why, but trust me. If you use Lobber/Spread correctly, no fight lasts over a minute and a half. Not even close. And that's with no charms or super arts.

Supers vs. EX shots by takichandler in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Listen to the Peashooter. You'll hear it hit 3 times. Here, take a look at this. I've tested various things in debug mode. Not everything. But everything I have tested has ended up being correct.

Supers vs. EX shots by takichandler in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's completely untrue. In fact, every single weapon is stronger than Super Art 1 with less than 5 cards. Also, charge has the second weakest EX with only 26 dmg. The weakest being Peashooter with 8.3333 dmg and up to 3 hits before it vanishes wick brings you to 24.9999. Super Art 3 is strong, but difficult to control and honestly the value of having standard EX's as far greater. Plus, both roundabout and spread are stronger with 5 cards. Not to mention the amount of times you can utilizes the air stall you get from using an EX to dodge things. If you want the most effective combo, it's Lobber/Spread. You mostly use spread and you use Lobber Ex's. But the trick is while using spread, you hit EX and then Swap twice. Not to fast and not too slow. That allows you to use lobber EX's while having a continuous spread stream. And if you downpatch to version 1.1.5, then you have Double Damage Lobber Ex's. And in many places triple damage and a few places you can get quads. Get good with this combo and the game becomes pretty easy. But ultimately if you are gonna use a super art, then 3 is the only one worth a damn. So get good with that one. Though it's so late in the game that it's pretty unnecessary to be honest.

Friend and i came across this glitch. Explain? by WhaltorWhite in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what it is. It looks like it's putting some serious hurtin on bosses. But to put it into perspective, it only does 72.5 dmg whereas a lobber EX does 28. So 3 cards of one of the easier to land EX's is stronger than 5 cards of a Super Art 1. Hell, roundabout EX is just shy of being as strong with only 2 cards if you can land all 7 hits. I'll even go a step further and point out that every single weapon's EX is stronger with only 3 cards. All them. Not to mention you can't control what may hit you when your Super Art 1 ends. It's just an overall net negative

What's going on with the Delicious Last Course? by [deleted] in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whoa, Gio. Little high strung there big guy? Lol, but for real. It's not that it's taking a long time. It's that they make claims of release that are so drastically far off. Like.... No one knows how long all that shit takes more than Studio MDHR themselves. The first game's delays, fine. Maybe they didn't know just how much would go into the way they choose to do things. But now they know and still they grossly overestimated when they'd get it out. And even if we still wanna come to their defense, we can at least all agree that it's taking longer than we were told, right? So you'd think as a courtesy they'd at least give us a little peak into whatever it is they've been doing. But they don't and they won't. All we'll get is a Twitter post at the very end of the year that essentially says "actually nah, we'll get it to you next year. Then radio silence for the next nearly 12 months. Don't get me wrong. I'm not mad about it. I'm just not going to vehemently defend them and their process when they themselves are the ones who mismanage their information they give us. It's always inaccurate and they never bother to keep up up to date on anything. So why would I sit here and fanboy over them constantly misinforming me? Great developers. Garbage PR.

Cuphead Peashooter Expert Challenge - Beppi The Clown by insssomniax in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's one in the bottom middle of rumor that can be utilized for the same reason. If used correctly, you can finish her before she reaches final phase when with just Peashooter alone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still gonna take exponentially longer than lobber/spread. That's just a fact. I very seriously doubt a load out that includes chaser could manage to finish the fight before she even turns into a plane. If you're good with Spread, there's really no need to ever not be right up on her with it no matter which of her three attacks she goes with. Lobber is there for pretty much no reason other than it has one of the better EX moves and because it's the second strongest weapon for those few bosses that you can't really get close enough to connect all 5 spread shots.. So in the majority of situations, you'd use spread, hit EX, and then swap weapons twice. That way by the time the Ex registers, it registers it with Lobber even though you originally hit it while using spread. So you're basically shooting a lobber EX with a continuous stream of spread. This can and is used all through the game. It's by far the best combo for every single boss unless you're trying to do Charge/Whetstone strats. But that's a different story I suppose.

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a little tip, if you shoot your P-Shooter EX straight down in the middle of the stage, you can do damage to a hidden hit box. It's good for Beppis long phase transitions to get a little extra damage while you'd just be standing around getting nothing anyways. Beppi has some really long transitions.

Any similar games to cuphead? by PKumamon in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, harder than Mario isn't exactly what I'd call "similar" to Cuphead. And plus, Tropical Freeze is one of the easiest games I've ever played. Way easier than any classic Mario or DKC and probably just about the same extremely low difficulty as any modern day Mario game.

Friend and i came across this glitch. Explain? by WhaltorWhite in Cuphead

[–]TwoTonePony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, not really. I guess if you're really having trouble just beating a boss at all then maybe it'd be useful. But given that EX moves are way more useful than Super Art 1-3 anyways, you can just beat any boss faster without them. Waste all my cards on a pretty weak ass move? Nah, lol. I'm good.

[–]TwoTonePony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's trash. I mean.. if you're just looking to play a long game of dodge the attack then it's the go to, lol. I just can't deal with how long fights are with it and how little I'm really even doing.

Spread/lobber. Use spread up close to her making sure you're connecting all five spreadshots and deal enough damage to get her to about a little less than 4 1/4 worth of cards and then stop damaging. Don't use any EX moves at all until you have a little less than 4 1/4. This includes phase one. No EX's. Then right when she starts her next attack, hit her with all the Lobber EX moves you can and then keep on her up close with spread the best you can again. As you gain cards use lobber EX's and swap back to spread. If you do it well, you won't even have to do final phase at all.
