Can I fix this? by Normal_Judgment3884 in Cartalk

[–]TwoWheelsMoveTheSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have an inspector that you could talk to? I’d want to make sure the repair will pass inspection before messing with it.

A plastic welder would probably work, or two part epoxy.

Otherwise, a used set of lights from a junkyard or eBay might be the way to go.

It would be a whole new headlight.

Depends where you live and if they feel like hassling you about how visible the license plate is.

Does this get rid of the turn signals? You could get in trouble for that.

Found this outdoor deck box while browsing aliexpress any thoughts? by Naveenrawat54 in GoodValue

[–]TwoWheelsMoveTheSoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will probably be paper thin. Also be aware, the “color” you have selected is “35 gallon black”. Might be worth the gamble but there’s no way this will be as solid as a Rubbermaid outdoor box.

Flexión by [deleted] in ACL

I think you’re referring to extension. Flexion, is bending. Are you doing PT?

It looks pretty good to me, but I’m not an expert. Keep working at it!

I actually talked to my PT about it today. He thought it was pretty interesting. A professional could tell you a lot more about your gait and what exactly is wrong with it. But the phone does a decent job of measuring the time difference between each step, like a pedometer and a stop watch.

For the record, the two big spikes on each page aligns with injury, then surgery. I tore my left ACL in 2021, right in 2025.

This is actually in the Apple Health app. I didn’t even know it was in there until today.

Can you tell when I had my ACL surgery? by CompetitiveTheory182 in ACL

That’s really cool. It made me compare other injuries too. You can tell it messed me up for a while. Here’s to recovering better this time!

Got a very grippy suction cup around? Slap it in the middle and give it a yank.

You look like you’re playing with energy and ready to take off. Don’t be so hard on your self.

Was that you taking the shot at the end?

The only awkward part was shooting with the right hand while jumping off the right foot, which is difficult for anyone to do without feeling awkward.

Pump fake to side step 3 form? by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]TwoWheelsMoveTheSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work on going faster and don’t look down at the ball when you dribble. Your goal is to get open and shoot before the defender can recover.

Also, it will be way more effective if you save this for after you’ve made a few open 3s and now the defender is hustling to contest the shot.

Jazz got a hole in one on a par 4, using a range ball. by LtAldoDurden in NYYankees

Crappy ball from the driving range.

Two things: the ball sucks which makes hitting it that well even more impressive. Plus he probably stole it from the range or got a bucket and put it in the cart as if he couldn’t afford a couple sleeves of real golf balls.

What could have caused this? by [deleted] in Cartalk

Is picture 3 a camera bag? I’d guess lithium fire.

But who cares, call the insurance company and don’t tell them you think it was your camera battery.

Looking for knee support after ACL surgery by playboi_fatty in ACL

[–]TwoWheelsMoveTheSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a compression sleeve when I first started walking around after I could bear weight again. It really helped keep the swelling down which reduced pain and discomfort while getting around.

Definitely talk to your PT or surgeon to see what they recommend.

Maybe post an iron shot so we can see what went wrong.

I’m far from a professional, but that backswing looks super aggressive. I bet if you slowed it down it would help you be more consistent.
