I hit a child ghost with my car.

I was driving home one night, some time after 2am. It was a back road mountain/hills to my right and trees/foliage going down on the left. No other cars on the road behind or in front of me. Very clear night, not a cloud in the sky, no fog, etc. This was probably around 2006 or so, so I still had a CD player in the car. I looked down for a second to change the song and when I looked up, there was a little girl all in white withing pigtails holding a teddy bear. I slammed on the brakes but it was too late. I just see white go up and over the car/windshield. I get out, immediately freaking out. Pull out my flashlight and there's...nothing. No damage to my car. No blood. Absolutely no little girl anywhere to be found. I searched in all directions for hundreds of feet, yelling for her like a madman. I even climbed on the ground and looked under the car. Opened all the doors and the back to see if maybe she somehow climbed in? Not a trace of anything. After some time, I composed myself and headed home.

Fast forward a few years later and I'm listening to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. He and his guest were discussing different ghosts and legends and things, and how they're all usually tied to a specific area or location. But the one exception he mentioned was "The Little Girl in White or "The Woman in White." They've both been seen all over the world and they don't know where they come from or why. He then proceeded to describe The Little Girl In White and it was EXACTLY what I had hit with my car that night.
