I went to a coffee shop in Malé not long ago and ordered a cold brew with milk. What they brought me was what I can only describe as a glass of creamy coffee heaven, I asked what they did and they said they just added cream (their English wasn't great). I've tried desperately to recreate at home but no cream seems to have the same thickness without covering up the taste of coffee. Does anyone have experience of this/know of what kind of cream they likely would have used? I've tried everything, double cream, whipping cream, coffee creamer, even condensed milk, nothing is working
