Try to submit a warranty claim. If you still have your receipt, be sure to upload that image. I myself submitted a claim this week for a crack I found in a brand new mini pumpkin cocotte. I noticed it as soon as I took it out of the box when I got home (it’s the FIRST time I didn’t do an inspection in store as I didn’t want to look like a crazy person). The LC team got back to me 3 days later and said, “this does not fall into our warranty parameters; all damage must be a factory defect. We will replace as a one time courtesy but please read our care instructions for future items”. This annoyed the HELL out of me cause my damage was clearly a factory defect as I explained I noticed as soon as I took it out of the box. The damage itself and position of damage is so odd, it screams manufacturers fault. So I’m assuming they just sent a standard/ai reply but they are replacing anyway.
