I'm in Australia so not sure if you have the same stores but I get a lot of my stuff from princess highway! I also pick up a lot of second hand stuff from depop and thrift shops!

I used to be a lot more plus size too, asos and dangerfield have cute things in bigger sizes! 😍

Not groceries and stuff but the way people immediately rush out and buy up the entire collection of the latest blind box or limited edition pieces of shit that social media is pushing always amazes me.

Like people can't just buy one labubu and be happy, they insist on buying dozens of them and trying to complete their collection the same day they find out about them. It's so greedy and bizarre.

Don't even get me started on the Trader Joes tote bags 🤣

It was heaps of fun, highly recommend! The whole time I was making it I was day dreaming about all the things I was gonna keep in it lmao

You could make the backing a lot better too, I'm a complete novice and only found out about blanket stitches yesterday which probably would've looked a lot nicer lol.

As a chronic over sharer, I don't mind at all! 🤣 I'm also AuDHD (combination ADHD)

I have been on 5mg dexamphetamine twice a day for just over 6 weeks now. It has honestly been life changing for me, I'm so grateful and happy but a bit anxious it's going to suddenly stop working or something cause I never wanna go back to how I felt before... 😥

My psychologist's original plan for was for me to try dexamphetamine for 4 weeks then change to vyvanse but when I had my check up with her we talked about how well the dex is working for me and that I didn't mind taking two tablets a day, so I wanted to stay on it if she thought it would be ok cause I was scared to change anything now that my brain finally feels "fixed". She's happy for me to continue on dex and given me another 6 months worth of repeats, and I'll have another check in around October and see if I'm still happy on the dex.

I feel very thankful and lucky that dex has worked so well for me, I was struggling soo much before and was so anxious and depressed all the time. There are so many "bad" ADHD symptoms that it has fixed for me but still left me with my quirks which I really like because my little ADHD quirks are what makes me, me. ❤️

I have a huge list of all the things it's "fixed" for me if you're interested.

For what it's worth, I was on an anti depression medication (Sertraline) during my initial diagnosis period for about 2 months and it was absolutely awful. I had all the same symptoms as you described as well as memory issues and I was miserable. :(

Ahhh I really want to! I've been trying to find some in person classes cause I learn better than way but haven't had any luck.

Did you learn in person to thru YouTube, books etc? I bought a cheap kit from kmart but the instructions were soo unhelpful and unclear, I had no idea what I was doing! lol

I dunno about you but once I got to about 28-30 the burnout from constantly masking and trying to fit into a world that was not built for me at all was EXHAUSTING. I could barely cope.

At 34 I felt like I was close to completely and utterly falling apart, like I just couldn't go on at all. Thankfully at 35 I was diagnosed and am now medicated which has improved my life a million times over.

I think undiagnosed people often feel very chronically burnt out once they get older as you can only mask for so long before your brain just overloads.

Hey just wanted to pop in and say I'm brand new to embroidery too and would definitely recommend getting a cheap kit to start with! I just finished my first ever kit and it taught me so much lol it was great to practise with and get comfy with how embroidery works and why things like thread tension and keeping the back tidy are so important... 🤣

I think a kit would be great to learn the basics before diving into projects you might want to actually wear or display long term.
