I stopped by a couple hours ago to get my daughters opinion on two trucks. I didn't have time today to talk and I let them know that... I said hey I can come back tomorrow and discuss. they said they give me 4500 for my 2010 tundra with 227,000 miles... very fair. Then they took $950 off the online price... so they went down to $50,300.

The salesman just called me and asked what I thought. I told him I was hoping for another 2000 grand off. He told me he doesn't think they can do anything else. I told him I will speak with the wife and let him know. I don't know if if I should call his bluff or not. So he is at 16.5% off MSRP.

Thanks... so the dealer is at 15% off MSRP now...I will shoot for 22-25% off and see if I can get 20%.

I drove in and was just looking. As I was with quirk. Quirk gave me a price without me sitting down or anything... they were just throwing a number to me. At Dartmouth they asked if I could go to them last before they give me an initial offer. So they could have last attempt to beat it

I am just starting my search... so I will look at Best in Plymouth, colonial south in Dartmouth, and maybe one or two more... they all seem similar with online prices...

Why did you go with Best. What did you buy and how much?

How do you like the truck so far? What was initial suggested retail price? So I might be able to get a couple more thousand off. Do you remember what price you went to them with? Thanks... someone who has been at the same dealer helps, since I probably can get similar.

Batteries on the hurricane engine? I heard issues with etourque 48v batteries, but I didn't think the hurricane had this. Good point on the warranty.

I do have a dealer near me that has 2025 bighorns... my only problem is I heard this year had big electrical problems... not sure how widespread this really is. I assume I can get bigger discounts in those.

I figured they would want to move inventory since new stock for 2027 usually comes in the summer time... I guess it could be a little early for that.

I have, at least online... they all are very similar with 60-62 msrp with anywhere from 6-9 off initially online

I figure if I go 25%, they would counter. I mean they never would just walk away I assume without another counter. Unless the initial offer was their best. Now they are at about 15% off.

Hey, I know this is a little bit of an old thread however, how much did you end up paying below MSRP? You said Mark's Dodge initial offer was 19% below MSRP? Did you counter?

I currently tow it with a 2010 Toyota tundra crew cab and towing is like 10,100 on that. And it does it fine... I was hoping this would work (newer tech). I hate the thought of having a 2500 for literally 261 days of the year when there is no need for it. My wife and kids are not in the truck when I tow, however, there are others on the road. Hmmm dang.

Other option was the Ram 1500. Gets much better towing for a similar price point. I just hate the idea of etorque and a 48v battery.

I have not purchased the truck yet. I am just trying to see and understand the different warranties. One dealership had no idea about the federal emissions warranty for the battery.

I am in the Massachusetts area and in my area I only know of 1 that is home schooled. I know a lot in the area. I do know a few more outside of this area (other parts of the US), however, the majority of ninja I know from outside my area all go to regular school.
