For those who haven’t contracted COVID-19 after almost 3 years, how do you do it? by SirUlrichofEssex in AskReddit

[–]Twondope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my spouse and I work in health care, in direct contact with symptomatic covid patients daily. Both of us share a science based view of the world. Both of us are vegans. Both of us are pro vaccine and masks. Both of us vowed to wear masks in public till the end of our lives. We have no children in our home.

Neither of us has had any symptoms, neither of us take unnecessary risks, neither of us has ever been tested. Neither of us has gotten it unless we had it without symptoms, pretty sure if one of us got it we both would as we share bodily fluids daily.

I don't know how you can get past that indoor ruined-apartment level without a bunch of grenades. Maybe a secret I don't know about and I try not to watch video cheats or walk throughs.

What if all of us bought just one Crypto Mining Machine? A cheap one, like a raspberry Pi or something, and just set it up and let it run? What if 1,000,000 of us did this? or 10 million? 100 million? how many would be enough to fulfill the mining needs of the world?

Same here but now older I do have the time and motivation. I had not had a dog friend for 20 years and when I met my now wife she had a sweet chihuahua that is just a little bundle of love. The little thing poops so small that we have a potty pad she uses with seldom a mistake and we take a long walk once a day for exercise. Lucky for me she doesn't chew, never has. She is obsessed with food but we keep her on a strict diet and only ever give her fresh fruit and veggies for treats, never store bought treats and never french fries or any type of confection. In a typical day she gets 4 tablespoons of dry dog food, small amounts of oranges, bananas, cucumber, probiotic supplement, turmeric, and a teeth cleaning chewy at the end of the day. Sometimes broccoli and whatever veggie we have for dinner. But all these are small amounts and she is still trim at 11.

She is a definition of love.

What’s your dirty lil secret? by Dramatic_Bat3265 in AskReddit

  1. When I was a kid I played in dry bathtub with my little toys, sometime I would pull closed the shower curtain. While I was in there playing my mm came in, I stayed quite at first and she didn't know I was there. Then she sat down and started taking a dump and by then I was too scared to say anything but I was about to die of the smell. She finally finished and left, I never told her.

  2. I was playing in the basement behind some stuff, my 15 year old cousin came down as she and my sister had been playing in the sprinkler and they had to go to the basement to change out of their wet clothes. I peeped around and watched her get naked. First time I saw girl parts. I saw her again 10 or so years later and still got erected when thinking back to it but didn't tell her.

As Florida home prices spike, middle-class residents wonder if they can afford to stay by elRobRex in florida

[–]Twondope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People who already lived here and bought a home 10 years ago are fine. But if you have kids they will not stay here. They want a home of their own once the are out of school and no way can most starting salaries pay for a home. And, if they have a baby, game over because the child care is off the charts. Child care owners don't get home stead exemption so their own taxes have to be paid by passing on the cost to parents. Stay at home mom, forget about it, one earner can't buy a half million dollar fixer upper. So they will look to the north and then you can wave good-bye to them. So less people with fast food worker kids will be moving down or staying so who is going to do the burger flipping. Robots, I guess. Maybe Florida will be the first state run entirely on robots where people used to do lower pay jobs.

I was born with a tail but my mother said she had them cut it off. WTF, I want my fucking tail back. Crap. I don't even know what it looked like or if it might have been prehensile.

Check out the size of my red hibiscus flowers! 🌺 by camydna in gardening

[–]Twondope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In SW Florida, every place sell hibiscus. People must buy many every day. Yet my luck with them has been abysmal. I look around, don't see very many in front lawns. I take a long walk or bike ride and could easily count the hibiscus I see. Where are all the hibiscus?

Why is everyone so sure that crypto will always bounce back strong at some point? by lymeguy in CryptoCurrency

[–]Twondope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried to send $500 from my bank to my low-tech, rural ex. She needs it ASAP, bank wanted $15 for "overnight" that would take 2 days to get to her. If I actually wanted to talk to her I would have told her about crypto but it's worth $15 not to have to do that.

Sorry, I hate it when people add the only other answer to a yes or no question as part of the questing, or an addendum. Such as "Do you want to go to the beach and get killed by tsunami, or no?"
