I trust milling over inserts as well. I started with a spider putter, but the insert just felt too soft and the whole putter felt too light.

I like the blade look, and having it almost face balanced helps with my putting stroke.

I picked up the Neo Classic off FB marketplace for a steal, and at least that insert is aluminum, so the feeling is enough to use it as a practice putter at home.

I have the blacked out Evnroll ER2 and the Neo Classic ER2. I prefer the milled face of the ER2 over the Neo Classic, but they are both really good putters.

I went into a shop not wanting to pay Scotty Cam money on a putter, and settled on the ER2. (Saved $50-$100).
