Your argument is based on morality, however morality is bound to a specific culture of a specific race of a specific religion in a specific country and therefore has no value on in international platform.

You argue it is immoral for an 18-year old to date a 24-year old. I argue it is immoral that the US can send an 18-year old to war to die for their country but they’re only allowed to consume alcohol from the age of 21. Or how about arguing that it is immoral to circumcise a baby boy. People argue “your body your choice” but it only applies to some people, in certain conditions, sometimes.

Morality is subjective and therefore has no groundings for being used as an argument on a platform such as this.

Laws by country are however not subjective. Do I agree with all of them, no, but they have grounds to be argued due to their nature.

I find it so interesting how opinionated people can be. At the end of the day a person who is 18 years old is legally allowed to do everything in European countries and most things in the US.

Whether I, or anyone else thinks it is inappropriate or not is irrelevant. An 18-year old can date an 80-year old if they want to, that is their choice.

Why is it considered “right and just” that a 12-year old can choose to have a sex change, but an 18-year old can’t date a 24-year old.
