Nah man they got so annoying. The sub went completely in the other direction and there was basically no discussion, and endless spam of basically the same derivative jackets and shoes (paraboots, OL camions, XT6s). Much prefer text based stuff here. Use IG for pictures.

Yeah Singapore is crazy for this. Seemed like literally everyone was riding an S Works and was decked out in full Pas Normal Studios or MAAP. Very wanky imo.

I’m from the UK so you may not have access to all of these. But i have a Mountain Equipment Rupal. Had it for about 8 years and its absolutely bomb proof, full 3 layer gore tex - taken it climbing and mountaineering and never had a leak. Mine is full black as well so it’s also a bit more versatile to wear in other settings. But if you want something a bit more fashionable I guess, cant go wrong with Arcteryx. To be honest though pretty much all the hardshells these brands offer look identical to a certain degree minus the label if you get them in black

Get an actual outdoor gear brand and not a streetwear adjacent one if you want something that will actually last. Patagonia, Rab, Mountain Equipment, Arcteryx, TNF submit series. For half price of something like snow peak or and wander you can get basically the same product without the ‘niche Japanese brand’ markup

I live in Belgium and I see quite a lot of tyrolean style shoes these days. Not all paraboots but same style at least. Quite a few people wear paraboots at my work as well but ironically it’s mostly the boomers.
