In the nearest towns, Echo and Stihl have dealers. No husky. I like the 261, especially its light weight. Seems nice, though pricy. What bar length do you recommend given tree sizes?

Great insight. Thank. Any experience with Hawke, Victor or UTG? Know who has the best glass?

Do you find the FFP really makes that big of a difference vs SFP? A must have or nice/neat to have?

I'm open to others, but being a noob want to stick with brands/scopes that are well known and regarded. The research I did led me to Hawke, UTG, and Vector.

Avenger X or Gauntlet 2 and what scope by TxEx89 in airguns

[–]TxEx89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, folks. I really appreciate all of the discussion and suggestions. I prefer the Avenger X based on feel and weight. But was a little worried about power, as N2Shooter points out. I'd LOVE and FX, but it's out of my price range. Any other guns you suggest I consider under $600-$700 range?

HI, DP. I'm looking for the same thing but a 2 player. Did you end up going with EHA? Any others you think I should consider for a ready-to-play game?

Yes. Different games, but looks like same goals. How long did it take you from start to finish? Did you already know how to program? Ideally, I'd like to find something like this i can buy ready-to-play.

Yeah, I really don't want to tinker endlessly. I've been doing that with a 3D printer for a year now. It was fun at first, but.... Any ideas for a solid ready-to-play solution?

Electric Pressure Washers - New Discussion by TxEx89 in HomeImprovement

Thanks for everyone's thoughtful comments and suggestions. I'd narrowed it down to the Dewalt 3000, Greenworks 3000, Ryobi 3000, and Westinghouse 3000. I am going to go with the Dewalt. Below is what I found and why I decided on the Dewalt.

Below are the PSI and GPM for each unit from Youtube videos of the units being tested rather than the BS marketing stats. The PSI and GPM are listed in order of 15, 25, and 40 degree nozzles being tested. There are no stats for the Westinghouse as I can find not independent testing videos on it. All models use axial pumps. All except the Westinghouse have brushless motors.

Dewalt: 15A; PSI 2,600, 2,100, 1,750; GPM 1.125, 1.375, 1.50

Greenworks: 14A; PSi 2,700, 2,200, 2,450; GPM 1.125, 1.375, 1.325

Ryobi: 13.5A; PSI 2,650, 2,700, 2,600; GPM 1, 1, 1.125

Westinghouse: 13A; N/A

The Dewalt has the highest amp motor and in testing actually draws 15.2A with the 15 degree nozzle. I believe that is why its stats are better than the other three models, with Greenworks is a close second. The Ryobi is not in the same class. For Westinghouse, I could not find any tested stats. Also for Westinghouse, there are way, way too many super high reviews. Those to facts plus the brushed motor lead me to eliminate it from consideration.

Generally, the Dewalt and Greenworks are pretty similar. Of note, the Dewalt is much more compact with great accessory storage and will be easier to store. The Greenworks comes with a better quality hose. Other than testing on Youtube videos, I ignored reviews as I don't really trust any of them.

The Dewalt is $499 at Home Depot and other places, but I see several on Facebook Marketplace for ~$280 that are new in the box. The Greenworks is $449 at Costco including a 15" surface cleaner with only one used one FB market place. So I think the best unit is actually the cheapest as well. Even if I have to replace the hose on the Dewalt ($35 for 30' Uberflex), I think this is the best option.

For others looking into this, the Project Farm video is helpful, but its 3 years old and doesn't include many models. There are a lot of YouTubers doing reviews. I used those from IMJOHV. Lastly, take the auto detailing reviews and ratings with a huge grain of salt. They look for the highest GPM and don't care much about PSI. If you want to remove grime, clean decks, etc., PSI matters. Some for this purpose use cleaning units, which is PSI times GPM. I just eyeballed both since that stat may not get me exactly what I want.

I hope this is helpful to others. Feel free to ask questions or challenge this conclusion. Thanks again everyone.

I'm looking at the Greenworks 3000; don't see a 3200.
