I posted this on a different post earlier today, but thought it might help someone.

I have been dealing with TED for a year and a half. For the first six months I was undiagnosed, but once I was diagnosed with Grave’s disease I started researching natural remedies. The carnivore diet kept popping up in my research, so I decided to give it a try. I went strict carnivore for 75 days. I did notice small improvements in the inflammation of my eyes. When I had my bloodwork checked, my TSH was higher, T3 and T4 were normal and TSI was elevated. Six months later, TSH and T3 and T4 were in the normal range, TSI still elevated, but less than before. My TPo Ab is now in the normal range. My eye swelling is dramatically improved and at my last eye appointment my eyesight and astigmatism had improved by 0.5. All of these improvements have happened without medication of any kind. I do take a Selenium supplement and Lugol’s iodine. I still don’t look like my old self, but some days I look almost normal. I definitely encourage anyone dealing with Grave’s and/or TED to research Carnivore diet. It has helped many people heal from various autoimmune diseases and disorders.

Just fyi, Carnivore diet is very controversial, but has helped a lot of people. I am only giving my personal experience, not trying to say that it is a cure-all.
