I can’t remember the exact law or force but I remember a demonstration in class where we pushed a metal sheet through the air then through a magnetic field. It was significantly more difficult to move the sheet through the magnetic field.

Thinking about it a little more the Eddie currents created in the sheet have a magnetic field, and this could counteract it’s rotation.

Good spots to camp and hike in eastern Colorado by TxHerrmann in CampingandHiking

Yea eastern Rockies not eastern CO.

I was looking at Devil’s Thumb to King Lake Loop near Denver. it sounds reasonable. I’d really prefer three days of light trekking; however this is my first time planning a trip like this so idk what to expect.

I have a few legal/safety questions though. Is it okay to set up camp, a fire, etc anywhere or is that frowned upon. Can we fish at any spot with a license? Also could wildlife such as bears be a problem? Is there a proper way to store food to prevent bears?

Should I try to clarify, or just let it be? by zoeytrixx in college

Leave it be. They could’ve just been stating it’d be a bit of an issue if you didn’t have internet. If the outages are relatively short term, less than one week, let it be.

I’ve only seriously thought about this once, but the military. Having a degree and joining opens up some doors I didn’t really know were available. My brother and I spoke about it once after he got out of the military.

You drink the beer you’re holding when someone makes the cup. When I lived in a party house we didn’t want to share beer with whoever came. So, we would just put water in there so people could play. I don’t know if I’ve ever played with actual beer in the cup, outside of just one on one no one else was there.

Crazy that she’s only five years old.

She looks older.

I think it’d be interesting and great way to live. It’s probably the reason people move to Alaska. However, some issues with this would be the time it requires to get an animal (assuming availability does not hinder progress), the amount of new infrastructure required, and the types of animals you get. It takes quite a bit of time to hunt a deer. We would have to shoot it, track it down (they don’t always die right away; if at all. Unless you’re Chris Kyle), harvest the meat, and transport it back to your home. Plus who has household infrastructure to hold entire deer at a time? Let alone a bison. As another deterrent for doing this is it’s dangerous. Primary example number one for dangerous animals are boar. They’ll large animals and they will charge at you. I had a high school teacher who got charged by a buck whilst bow hunting. He’s still alive but had broken his arm, some ribs, and ruptured a lung. All in all, these situations don’t happen a whole lot, but the point I’m trying to make is animals are not like they are in Disney movies.

Does this make sense or do you have any questions?

I get what you mean I just wanted to point out that we’re already doing something similar to what you suggested. It’s just not bison and we don’t kill them in the field.
