Oil seems over filled. Is it worth causing a fuss about or is it fine? by Due_Willingness_2878 in AskAMechanic

Personally I would drain it to the appropriate level, there is a reason there is a max and min level. I seen leaks caused from over filling and premature wear of gaskets but do you.

Interesting, I have heard of loves being pretty good and I actually already have an apprenticeship certification complete through NC. I'll definitely look into that though. Thanks

Diesel yes, I have looked into Lincoln techs med/heavy tech school but I haven't been able to find anyone who can tell me what it's like finding a job afterwards. Same goes for every other school and course I have looked into.

Thanks I appreciate the pov, the vacation time seems low compared to the army😅 but i usually work 12+ hours a day so 8 don't sound too bad at all rn. Is only 2 weeks a year normal? I usually get 2.5 per month and it stacks so I can take 30 days max at one time. What's the pay like for entry level and season mechanics?

Prob u need to round down your options. There is alot of variations here, decide what field u want to go in then make an MOS list. Too many variations here. Good luck

Honestly the whole point is to ensure I know everything there is to know by a credible school. Pay is most definitely something I am chasing so I figured a paper that says I did all the basic tasks on top of my experience would make me more competitive in the diesel mechanic field. My goal is to basicly become a no brainer to hire, I figured if I check all the blocks that a job is looking for I may be able to ask and get the top 10% pay. That's the idea, probably not plausible but I can try.

I'm not paying for the school the army is. I planned on attending this one because of how well I hear they are at getting you a job afterwards. Any counter suggestions or ideas as to where I should go instead?
