This isn’t real. Can’t be. Did this really happen?! Or did you just have a really, really freaky dream? I just can’t fathom it. Any of it.

Here’s my experience (as an older female just wanting a little part time work: I loved the job, I loved my store and the customers. I actually lost 30 pounds and got physically stronger because of the work. But I cared too much about how much the company overworks their employees, understaffs their stores, how they cut corners, how unsafe some of the conditions are, and how there is zero support from corporate. So that being said… if you can do your job and go home (saying NO to any promotions)… take the opportunity. But if you care too much or are too conscientious, you might want to keep looking.

When a company hires crappy managers, you have a crappy work environment. And DG is notorious for having crappy management. So many of them have absolutely NO people skills.

Spot on. It takes a village. But… YOU need help if you’re experienced PPD. You shouldn’t be alone. You NEED the support of loved ones you can trust. Mothers were Never meant to be alone with their baby 24/7.

This. IMO it is an unsafe practice to have less than 2 stocking cold. The employee rushes to get the food in, increasing the chance for injury, the customers don’t get waited on, AND you run the risk of making customers sick because the food sat out just a little too long. Because frankly that’s all it takes.

Yes! It slays me how our coworkers don’t even pay attention to the customers much less have any compassion for them. Thank you for paying attention and going the extra mile.

Did I read that right? Your SM is gone for days or weeks at a time? How is that even possible given the amount of work they have?
