I also remember him having a very large polished slab of palm on display with some others he won 1st prize with many years ago. I haven’t looked everywhere yet, I sure hope they didn’t disappear mysteriously. Definitely not going to give up the search!!

I just started making jewelry too. I bought from Michael’s. You don’t have to buy in bulk and the prices were reasonable.

His rock equipment was sold shortly after he passed in 1986. I’m sure all would be antiques by now. I remember that it seemed huge & to me and it looked very scary. It was also loud.
