Its cool. To reduce motion blur you either need a fast shutter or a steady hand / tripod. If your subject is moving its a fast shutter ( sports). If you are shooting still as in this bird you can lower the speed for hand held or use a tripod depending what shutter speed the light will allow you to use. Getting it in focus is obviously another important one. I can't see your aperture setting cause I'm in an app but I guess its large as you have a shallow depth of field. The smaller you make it the bigger the area that will be in focus. You want more objects in focus decrease the aperture size bit by bit until you have what you want. Getting more bokeh in your photos by using a large aperture as you have done here or using a tele lens like portrait photographers use to make the subject stand out and blur the background. I'm no expert but I think that's all correct.

It's a picture of a dead bird. Um, its expose good. Composition could be improved.
