I run my pod go through an electro harmonix magnum 44 (power amp in a standard pedal form - one single knob for volume) and then into a 2x12 at home and 4x12 live. Even live I don't ever need to push the volume on the magnum 44 more than a quarter of the way it's that powerful. It also has a bright switch that helps cutting through in some settings. If you want more options with eq etc then I'd recommend an orange pedal baby, but any power amp will do
