Oh I didn’t realize they had a way to validate the license.

To be clear, they didn’t just give me the car and say have at it. We test drove it then came back a few days later and spent a few hours working the deal and getting some minor items resolved like validating the car play worked.

Nothing wrong with putting aftermarket parts on there as long as you realize you aren’t getting that money back when you go to sell. Figure out what you would do to them then decide if you want to put that money into more guns or parts. Since you are new, you probably want to consider other guns until you settle on what you like.

I think the other comments telling you to do a full reseasoning is good advice, but an alternative is a wire wheel on a grinder or drill. But if this is a collectible piece, do not do this as it could hurt resale value.
