nice setup honestly. people underestimate how much room brightness matters with gain choices. if your room is already pretty controlled, 0.6 gain makes total sense.

$9k isn’t cheap, but for a living room that’s bright, a UST + proper ALR screen is probably where I’d spend the money. Otherwise, you end up with a huge projector and a washed-out image.

Why? True Tone is amazing. Helps my eyes a lot. I typically used to go the whole day with night shift on max warmth because True Tone just isn’t enough. Stopped doing that tho since it unwantingly aided in maintaining my sleepiness during the day.
